"Fallen Antlers - Our 4.6% Saison brewed with @blueoxmalthouse 2-row and wheat, and flaked spelt from @mainegrains, and locally foraged Staghorn Sumac.⠀

Staghorn sumac gets the name due to the velvety looking hairs on the branches similar to a deers antlers.⠀

It has a nice tartness from the sumac.  Almost this berry pink lemonade character.  Wonderful fruity, lightly barnyard funk Brett aromatics.  Dry as fuck. Tons of citrus notes.⠀

This grisette is brewed with @blueoxmalthouse pale and wheat malt, @Maine grains flaked wheat and fermented in oak with our farmhouse yeast. It is then conditioned with one pound per barrel of locally grown peaches from Sweden, Maine before being aged in Sauvignon Blanc barrels for nine months.
