Hitchin, Hertfordshire📍 Anything with bread is a winner for us so this tiger French stick is perfect! Topped with fried leeks, mushrooms and chilli with garlic and feta 🤩 it’s the perfect breakfast or lunch 💚 how do you like your French stick?
Hitchin, Hertfordshire📍 Days where you use up the ingredients you have in the fridge are the best! Greens, roasted sweet potato, radish, balsamic glazed mushrooms and cherry tomatoes topped with a little bit of red chilli and feta cheese 🤩 not forgetting the side avocado yoghurt dip and the hot sauce 🥑🌶 not only delicious but so quick to make and you can adapt this with other ingredients to give it a whole other taste 🤩 what’s your favourite ingredient in this dish? 💚
Gold Coast📍 For November it’s pretty mild for England but we’re still missing the Aussie sunshine and beaches ☀ we loved chilling on the beach and trying some of the local food and this açai bowl went down an absolute treat! Of course we had to get the Nutella option with added strawberries, banana and coconut 🍓🍌🥥🍫 what are your dream toppings?
Hitchin📍 Quick, easy, cheap but delicious breakfasts are what make us happy 🤩 this is one of our favourite versions of the classic avocado on toast, we love to add extra flavours like tomatoes, radishes, feta, pumpkin seeds and a squeeze of lime for additional flavour! It involves no cooking so no extra dirty dishes and is lovey and filling... so it’s a yes from us! 🙌🏽 What’s your favourite quick breakfast?
Hertfordshire📍 How’s this for a lunch set up? This is a favourite for us, homemade risotto with seasonal veggies and crunchy baguette served on our amazing Balinese wooden set that we are totally obsessed with👌🏼 One of our favourite things about travelling was that it really opens up your eyes to different cultures and tastes! We learnt to cook so many different dishes and flavours since we started travelling in April and decided to bring them recipes back home with us, we can’t wait to show you all more of our home cooks 😋💚
Hitchin📍 Who loves home made brownies? 😍 I know we do... & so does little Nixon! In fact anything homemade is always a winner for us 😆 It’s been a crazy week catching up with family but we’re now working on our new project and can’t wait to share more with you all! 💚
@heartsofcupid 📍 Have you ever had too much chocolate? No because that’s not possible! 🤩 We loved cracking our chocolate heart from Hearts of Cupid, which was filled with TWO POUNDS of Nutella heaven, in front of Sydneys opera house and harbour bridge 😍 It was sooo much fun but the best bit is eating it! 🤣 what’s our favourite chocolate? 🍫
@vertuecoffee 📍 Who said salads were boring? This is a braised and roasted cauliflower and winter greens with black rice, kale, pumpkin purée, coconut tzatziki and sumac salad with halloumi added 😍 not forgetting the mac and cheese croquette in the corner with beetroot purée... what we’re trying to say is Vertue Coffee Roasters is our new favourite place 🤙🏽 hidden behind a gas station, you could so easily walk past and never know this place existed, but what a gem it is and if you are in Melbourne you’d be missing out if you didn’t visit!
@elixiba 📍 Since we’ve been travelling we’ve tried many vegan restaurants and this was definitely one of our favourites! With so much to chose from the menu, we went for a hemp patty macro bowl and the humble burger. We love that all the food is presented so well and full of colour and was definitely some of the nicest food we tasted in Byron. What’s your favourite vegan dish? 😋
@thepasscafebyronbay 📍 Byron Bay is possibly our new favourite place in Australia and the INCREDIBLE food scene is obviously one of the reasons why! 😍If you are heading to Byron it’s not all about the Main Street... some of the best places are tucked away and The Pass Cafe is a great example of that! Delicious food and drinks, amazing views and the friendliest of staff we’ve met since being in Australia you’d be silly not to add The Pass Cafe to your list!! We chose the brekky burger and the super bowl salad and we definitely made the right choice!! As The Pass say themselves... Cheer up, slow down, chill out 🤙🏽
@baskk.co 📍 Happy Friday 💃🏽 Who wants to hear a little motivational story??! We were so excited to go back to BASKK as it took us right back to the beginning of our travels. We actually sat in BASKK with iced coffees talking about how incredible it would be if we could grow our impact in the food blogging industry and work with restaurants like this. BASKK is restaurant goals with incredible Aussie interior and a food and drinks menu to die for, suitable for any occasion! Less than 6 months down the line we have been invited to experience the best of their menu... cocktails and pizza 🍕🍸BASKK is a beautiful seaside bar providing an amazing experience and we think these pictures definitely do all the taking to explain why, not only does it all look fab, it tastes incredible and easily our favourite place on the GC!! We absolutely love BASKK and can’t wait to go back for a third time... think we’re going to need a loyalty card 🤣
To conclude our story we are so excited about how travelling has given us the confidence to peruse our passion and allow us to enjoy incredible experiences... dreams really do come true if you believe in yourself and put your all in!!! 💚
@edcafebne 📍 We were lucky enough to be invited to @edcafebne in Brisbane to try out there delicious brunch menu and smoothies. We loved the whole interior of the place... is there anything better than a good feature wall?!! We had a halloumi stack which was organic sourdough, shortcut bacon, halloumi, fresh spinach, smoked cherry tomatoes, romesco, dukkah and a free range-poached egg, and a nourish bowl which was quinoa, yellow basmati, pickled veg, avocado, smoked cherry tomatoes, pumpkins, mixed greens, dukkah and free range poached egg. It was absolutely amazing and a must visit when you are in Brisbane 😋💚
Gold Coast📍 Street food is such a great way to eat when you are exploring a country as generally the prices are a lot cheaper than restaurants so it’s great to sample a few things from different stalls. We were taken to Miami Marketta on the Gold Coast by our friends who are locals and it was amazing! Loads of delicious options, with live music and a decent bar and a whole load of Aussies meaning we got a great experience of a typical Aussie Saturday night, so much fun! This chicken and chorizo paella was one of our faves! What’s you favourite street food? 🌮🥙🥘
@enzosonthebeach 📍 Brunch is our favourite meal of the day and the Aussies sure know how to make a good one! We absolutely loved Enzo’s On The Beach for this reason. Situated in a amazing building overlooking Hervey Bay’s beach, it’s crazy to think how much this place has transformed in one year, but everyone is loving it! With so many options suitable for all kinds of dietary requirements, Enzo’s On The Beach is the place to visit before hopping over to Fraser Island 🌴💚
Queensland📍 Happy Monday! We love this type of meal since being in the camper as it’s suitable any time of the day and you can adapt it based around what’s in the fridge and cupboards. We fried up some veggies and added whole grain mustard and seasoning, grilled tomatoes and broccoli with garlic, fried up some halloumi and heated up some @heinz not forgetting the delicious French stick with plenty of butter 😍 All served up in our Favourite Balinese wooden set! what’s your favourite meal to cook?
@thebrewerytownsville 📍You can’t beat learning about the food and drink culture in each place you visit, so it was only right to do the same in Townsville! The brewery is well known across the east coast of Australia for the breweries beers. We were lucky enough to visit the brewery itself and have a tour around where the magic happens, and also enjoy a meal from their brand new menu in the malt restaurant. Definitely recommend visiting if you are in the area, the food was incredible and it was so much fun to learn (and taste of course) the beers! What’s your favourite type of beer? 🍻
