This hit home for a lot of people so I wanted to chat about it on here. As an entrepreneur it’s basically a death sentence if you’re not using every minute to either create content, form new relationships, or strategize how to do those things.

I definitely find myself linking my worthiness to how much work I get done in a day. I came back from a trip on Tuesday and I did not want to do any work for a couple days after returning.

I kept thinking to myself, you have so much work to catch up on why are you being intellectually lazy? But I needed time to decompress from my trip (because introvert things) and my mind was not in a place to work.

I realized that by day two and gave myself a pass to be β€œlazy”. I knew nothing good would come from my mental state at the time, so I backed off.

I’m just here to tell you that is completely okay. If you need some time to breathe and if it takes a day or 2, or a week...THAT IS OKAY!

Give yourself a break, listen to your mind and body! You don’t always have to be a productive person. If it’s costing you your peace, it’s not worth it!

So what can I do to ease my symptoms? 
1️⃣ Incorporate seed cycling πŸ‘ˆπŸ½ (swipe) 
There  are 4 seeds that build healthy hormones. Certain seeds will block unwanted hormones as well as promote proper ones depending on where you’re at in your cycle. 
2️⃣ Supplementation πŸ‘πŸ½ taking zinc, magnesium, b complex and vitamin d, digestive enzymes will improve mood & energy levels. Also squeeze in a women’s multi vitamin too. 
3️⃣ SLEEP 😴 make it a goal to get a minimum of 8 hours a night.

I originally got into nutrition and lifting 6-7 years ago to lose weight. I have battled with PCOS since I was 16 years old. I gained a ton of weight in college and I was unhappy with my health and appearance.

I went to school for psychology and ended up pursuing it for 7 years. I have a masters in forensic psychology with an emphasis in criminology and researchπŸ€“. I worked in my industry for 2 years before I ditched that career.

Eventually I found flexible dieting and I decided to make a huge life shift. I learned about macros and lifting. My once hobby turned into a full blow business and passion. I became certified master nutritionist about 2 years ago, had to make it officialπŸ“š

Now I coach nutrition at my gym and for remote clients. I compete in powerlifting and πŸ‹πŸ½β€β™€οΈnext year I’ll be pursuing Olympic weightlifting.

Most importantly I love Jesus!! My relationship with God is my most precious possession and I love sharing Gods love to others.

My other company @badgalsbarbellclub is my passion project. I’ll be real with you I don’t always know what I’m doing but the mission behind the brand is what keeps me dedicated to growing it.

Lastly I own a gym @thefacilityssc with my brother and best friend. The facility is the first of its kind. We integrate the highest level technology with velocity based training, nutrition, and recovery for athletes. #wedabest
