I remember being in New York a year ago; walking down Central Park and reading a book by Paulo Coelho on a cool winter morning. It hadn’t snowed or rained for the last 7 days which resulted in a cool and pleasant weather. I stopped to sit down on a bench and I saw a duck wadding off in a nearby trench. The duck was out there doing its thing and being totally oblivious to what people did. The sound and noise around it didn’t seem to bother it but occasionally; it would scare the duck. The place was surrounded by people; tourists; taking pictures, couples; walking hand in hand; hawkers; doing their thing and a carriage looking for rides. I observed my surrounding and contemplated. Pondering over and over again, I reflected back on my life in India, the life in Bangkok and the life I was living at present; in New York. Each of the three life’s had its own beauty; Dark, Beautiful and challenging. Right then, I knew what I wanted. I reflected back on the time when I made it to Bangkok with nothing but a thirst for knowledge and today, almost a 17 months later; I’m in New York and I’m reflecting back once again of the life I want. A life filled with fraught, challenges, laughter, friends, love and a family of mine own. Like the duck, I’m starting everything from scratch. No plans, no clues. A lost boy and a dream to fulfill.
I have more to this story but I’m going to wait for a while before I continue. Thank you for reading! 📷 @nihadhaque . Thank You 🤗 You issa inspiration and that’s the real ☕️ 💝
I have so much to say but right now I can’t seem to find the right words to express what I am feeling. Ups and Downs, this and that, what and where and why and who - we’ve been through it all. From pot stickers to CBTL - we’ve made some amazing memories. I do not know when life will present an opportunity for us to meet under the same roof but what I do know is that my heart genuinely wishes the best for you. You were amazing here and I’m sure Kuwait will treat you well. Good Luck P. Best wishes. Love, Bad Boi ❤️💝
They both were the very first friends I made when I joined university back in ‘15. I befriend @the_maverick_worm because of the filthy kala khata conversation and @srk_786insta, when we met in the library and then again on board when he was seated beside me. Since then, our bond always went up and up and up. Yes, I did throw my tantrums and thank you for always putting up with me. All those crazy times in Route 66 and hopping around Bangkok has finally come down to this. Thank you for putting up with my shit. Thank you for being my friend. When darkness falls tomorrow, all three of us would be heading into 3 different paths. I hope one days are paths will cross again. I love you guys. Thank you for being my friend 💝
