Perth Day 3 - Morning drive to Freemantle, free & easy. Not that busy even though on a working day. But most of the shops were closed due to the “must watch” Melbourne Cup. .
We had lunch at Kaili’s (The poll result was 66% Cicerello’s, 44% Kaili’s). Next time we will try the other one. Right after that we stopped at a children bookstore. #arianamr bought this book callled “How to raise a grown-up” 🤔👀🤔👀. .
Then we went to Watertown Outlet. If you have gone to the Premium outlets in USA, this is not that kind of outlet. But okaylah, we got some stuff from here. Again you will bump into Malaysians at almost every corner of the building hahaha, even at the parking lot. .
Towards the end, we stopped at the famous Blue Boat House. Mind you, there is no nearby parking. We have to walk about 700 meters to get there. But worth it, though the weather was around 16C. Managed to capture the sunset (sometimes you have to queue to get your turn). #holiday#perth#australia#instatravel#travel#termbreak#instaphoto#vacation#blueboathouse#fremantle#freo
Perth Day 2, Part 2:
After Caversham, we went to the North Beach for a picnic. Yesss ... mommy cooked #chickencurry#sambaltelur#ikangoreng#sayurkqcang . Sejuk2 lapar ya amat . The weather was nice, sunny but cold (16C), sejuk gedi lagi2 dok tepi laut. The best thing about Perth is there are many public picnic area areas with full facilities for bbq, water supply, toilets and playground. All clean and well-maintained. #travel#perth#australia#arianamr#vacation#instratravel#holiday#picnic
Towards the end of the day, we went to Clarkson to see the house that my laling built about 20 years ago (he used to be an Australian PR) and his friend around the same neighbourhood.
Perth Day 2 Part 1: .
Misi mencari koala, kangaroo and wombat @cavershamwildlifepark #arianamr#holiday#perth#australia#instatravel#wildlife#vacation#travel#instatravel
She got a chance to feed a baby sheep with a bottled of milk and milked one of the cows. Btw, I think 80% of the visitors here on that day are Malaysian. Every corner we bumped into a Malaysian and every time they asked for volunteers, it was always Malaysian. Be it Malay, Chinese or Indian. #lifeisgood eh!
Perth Day 1 .
As we arrived at the wee hours on Sunday, the next morning we just visited a local Sunday market in Canning Vale for our breakfast and to buy some fresh food (yeah, #cheflinn cooks everywhere). We met Kak Ton & En Suhaimi, our long lost friends, who is attached to the Malaysian Consulate in Perth and had Kak Ton’s famous #laksapenang . The weather is pretty cold that we need to wear jacket most of the time.
We love the landscape and the neighbourhood of our homestay. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 #holiday#vacation#termbreak#perth#instatravel#travel
Oh yea, at the market there are many Malaysian stalls. One of them sells fresh durian king at AUD 28/ kg
This made my day. ❤️
Every Thursday, before #arianamr hand in her homework, she will ask me to vet through her work.
This week she had a simple task under the Language Art Section; to write an imaginative story about a money tree. Seriously I did not expect she wrote a long story like this. Siap to be continued at end 😀. What amused me:
* The first letter of the first word in every paragraph is “bold” font * my parents used most of the money (I wish 😊) * I did want to post a video about the money tree but I am afraid that the government might take it away. (I asked where did you get the idea? AR: because that’s not the money issued by the government. Later they might introduce a law to ban people from planting the money tree) *she used the money to help orphans, refugees. .
Look forward to reading the complete story.
#futureauthor 😊 .
#amused#homework#imagination#languagearts#story perhaps I should engage a publisher 🤔 .
The first paragraph is on the 3rd pic. #swipeleft
