So I’m gonna tell everyone a little story here so BUCKLE UP.
-
Let’s go back to my first day at Supplement Superstores.
-
There I was 170 pounds soaking wet, 19 years old, having no clue about what I was going to do with my life moving forward.
-
I moved back home just a few weeks prior after I decided to no longer pursue playing college baseball.
-
I could no longer study Criminal Justice because the school I transferred to didn’t offer it.
-
And I was kind of just walking around with my hands up, not knowing what to do.
-
I knew I loved fitness and had a huge passion for it, so I moved forward with trying to get hired at Supplement Superstores.
-
After multiple interviews and a few people putting in some good words for me, I got a job inside the stores.
-
I knew very little about supplements at the time, and I was extremely uneducated in diet and nutrition but I was more than eager to learn.
-
Night after night of studying I slowly gained more knowledge about diet and nutrition than most people would need in a lifetime.
-
At that point in my job at S2 I still didn’t even own a camera nor had I edited a video in my life.
-
Eventually I got into a camera for more recreational purposes and to have something to take on vacations.
-
After a few months of having fun with the camera and taking videos at the gym with some of my co-workers, I got asked by @miketaylor_s2 if I wanted to come out to our Wentzville store and make a video of our company BBQ.
-
I was super excited and I could not believe I was going to get the opportunity to actually make a video for my company.
-
The day after the event I edited that video.
-
And at our very next company meeting, boss man @andyfrisella called me out in front of 100 other employees.
-
He was using me as an example.
-
Andy recently had an employee come to him seeking a raise, but that employee wasn’t doing the extra work required to back up his reasoning for wanting a raise.
-
So he asked the group of 100+ if they saw the recent video on S2’s page of the BBQ this past week.

Words can’t describe how excited I am for #SummerSmash2018! This will be My third year behind the camera and I still feel like a kid in a candy shop getting the opportunity to cover such an amazing event every year.

I put together this video earlier in the week due to my excitement for what’s to come over the next few days 😬

This little lady right here is something special.
-
She always has the biggest smile and loudest laugh in every room she’s in.
-
She works her ass off all week long with 5:30am alarms to make sure she gets Lance to school and herself to work on time. (Gotta love 270 traffic every morning)
-
She manages to find time (and energy) for the gym after she gets off work in the evening.
-
On weekends you’ll find her grocery shopping, meal prepping, getting in a workout, or knocking out some laundry.
-
I mean for real this girl does it all.
-
And even with all those things going on, she still manages to find time for me in all of that.
-
She doesn’t think I appreciate it as much as I do, mainly because I’m an only child and want her attention ALL the time; but I really do appreciate it more than she knows.
-
When we first met about 3 years back, I didn’t really think much of it.
-
We met when she came in to Supplement Superstores with one of her friends for the first time. She was quite the skeptic of a customer I must say 😂
-
After that, we periodically saw each other at Club Fitness. We’d always say hi and chat for a few minutes when we saw each other there.
-
Over time we ended up building a friendship.
-
She was someone I trusted, I always enjoyed our conversations, and she was real.
-
Now over 3 years after meeting her, we literally do everything together AND I get to call her my girlfriend 👫
-
If you told me that 👆🏼 a year ago I would’ve never believed you, but damn look at where we are now 😘
-
She’s been a blessing in disguise since day one.
-
I couldn’t be happier with where we’re at and I can’t wait to see where we go 😍 #WCW

Over the last year I’ve had the opportunity to hear some of the most inspiring stories from people who have literally changed their lives while using my companies products and services that we provide on a daily basis.
-
I’ve heard stories of people who’ve lost 20 pounds, 70 pounds, some even as much as 100 or more pounds!
-
I’ve had grown men and women cry in front of me because they’ve been over weight their entire life and could never seem to find an answer to their problem.
-
If you’re someone who struggles with being over weight or just out of shape and you don’t like the body you’re in; I promise, you CAN make a change for the better.
-
Wether you’re the person who can’t go on a rollercoaster with your kids because you’re to big to strap in, you’re someone whose winded after walking up one flight of stairs, or you can’t go to a sporting event with your friends because you won’t fit in the tiny seat; just know that there is light at the end of the tunnel.
-
There’s one question I LOVE to ask each person I film with and that is: “If you could go back to day 1 and tell yourself one thing, what would it be?”
-
The most common answer goes a lot like this: “I know you’re afraid to start. I know that you don’t think you can do this, but I promise you that you can. It’s not going to be easy, there’s going to be days you want to quit, there’s going to be days the scale doesn’t move in the direction you want it to; but if you stick to your plan it WILL work. If you’re honest with yourself day in and day out and you stay consistent the results will come.”
-
If you’re someone whose tried before and fallen off, or heck if you’re someone that’s never even thought you can lose the weight.
-
I want you to do one thing.
-
Start. Not tomorrow, not this weekend, right now.
-
If you don’t know what to do or how to do it, seek advice. You have an endless amount of information at our disposal, and it’s all free.
-
Pick whatever “diet” suits you and stick with it.
-
Contrary to popular belief, they ALL work. You just have to find the one that you can stick with and do every single day.
-
If you need guidance or advice I’ll give you a few avenues that I’d recommend in comments ⬇

A few months back I got the opportunity to shoot a video with one of the best powerlifters in America. There’s really only one word that comes to mind when I think of Nick Weite @usapl275 and that word would be humble. He’s competed on the biggest stages possible in the powerlifting community and you’d never know it unless you see the dude throw around some crazy weight in the gym.
-
Nick competed in the 2013 World Games being one of only two guys selected to represent the USA. This event is the closest powerlifting has to the Olympics and is recognized by the International Olympic Committee. He still takes pride in the fact that he was one of ten individuals in the whole world invited to compete in the heavyweight division in a competition held every four years.
-
He has also been apart of the St. Louis City Police Department since 2005 and serves our community as a Sergeant over seeing 6 detectives.
-
Nick's heading up to Columbus, Ohio to compete in his 9th  Arnold Classic and I wanted to wish him the best of luck in all his lifts this weekend. I know you’re gonna kill it brother, I can’t wait to see what you put up. Just know we’re all rooting for you back here in St. Louis!
