1️⃣ go grocery shopping at least once per week for optimal freshness, and chop your produce up into a ready-to-go format (diced cucumbers, sliced tomatoes, etc.) as soon as you get them home
.
2️⃣ to preserve freshness, place the stems of your full-sized leafy greens and herbs in a mason jar filled with a little water in the bottom
.
3️⃣ to preserve the freshness of any moist type of produce that you’re storing in a container, use one paper towel at the bottom of the container to absorb excess moisture

It wasn’t until I consciously changed my beliefs that I began to attract different experiences and people into my life...like this one! 😉 Know that if you are struggling with this aspect of life, the most powerful and transformative thing you can do for yourself is to focus on what you can control. You can’t control other people, but you can control your perspective, your responses, your outlook, your beliefs, and your attitude. All of these things influence your future experiences. Just as much as you can heal your body, you can heal your relationships, and past traumas associated with them. 💗💗

My Gemini personality naturally DESPISES structure. However, living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle (especially a healing protocol) requires discipline and yes, structure. Once I stopped believing that life would be boring if it weren’t 100% structure-free, everything changed for the better, and I was finally able to reach my goals. Because I came from being so extremely all over the place as my norm, I had to be equally as extremely rigid with my new, healthy routines to counteract that for a few years until they became habitual. Nowadays, I have a bit more of a balance. Most days I’m in bed by 9pm, up before the sun, eat healthy plants, and make sure I move my body lots. But occasionally I will feel drawn to let myself stay up late so I can fit in something fun, or I might eat a little bit of something that’s not the greatest for me...just like everyone else! It’s not about being perfect. 🙅🏻‍♀️A good guideline to follow is to go with it when the true joy (not just temporary satisfaction) it will bring you significantly outweighs any potential negative health consequence. So I’m not talking about plowing through a box of Tim Horton’s doughnuts, but maybe once in a while having a little bit of a raw vegan dessert that might be quite high in the fat that is best for you to avoid while you’re healing💗 (like this raw vegan carrot cake with vanilla frosting 😋).

Today my mom officially became my client, and now the health of both of my parents is in my hands. Every single soul I work with reinforces why I do the work that I do, but it’s especially powerful when it’s your loved ones.

I have been working with my dad for a few months now, and at this point I have almost helped him completely reverse his Crohn’s disease. This is something he had been debilitated by since he was 10 years old. My mom, on the other hand, has a classic case of Stage-4 Epstein-Barr virus, with all of the common symptoms: severe neurological fatigue, numbness, tingling, brain fog, confusion, memory loss, lymphedema, mystery weight gain, hormonal imbalances, twitches and spasms, anxiety, heart palpitations, and hot flashes. Both of my parents had been to see numerous health practitioners over the course of many years, both conventional and alternative, with no concrete answers and no real improvement with treatments.

Today my mom said something to me that made me really emotional: “I just want to be able to live my life. I just want to be able to do what I love to do. I’m so sick of being uncomfortable and in pain. I just want to go out and be able to do the things I want to do.”

Today my mom officially became my client, and now the health of both of my parents is in my hands. Every single soul I work with reinforces why I do the work that I do, but it’s especially powerful when it’s your loved ones. - I have been working with my dad for a few months now, and at this point I have almost helped him completely reverse his Crohn’s disease. This is something he had been debilitated by since he was 10 years old. My mom, on the other hand, has a classic case of Stage-4 Epstein-Barr virus, with all of the common symptoms: severe neurological fatigue, numbness, tingling, brain fog, confusion, memory loss, lymphedema, mystery weight gain, hormonal imbalances, twitches and spasms, anxiety, heart palpitations, and hot flashes. Both of my parents had been to see numerous health practitioners over the course of many years, both conventional and alternative, with no concrete answers and no real improvement with treatments. - Today my mom said something to me that made me really emotional: “I just want to be able to live my life. I just want to be able to do what I love to do. I’m so sick of being uncomfortable and in pain. I just want to go out and be able to do the things I want to do.” - How simple does that sound? Since I got into health and wellness I have understood the connection between our planet and literally everything else, including our health on an individual level. But this year more than ever I have learned so much about environmental health, pollution, practices that deteriorate the Earth, and sustainability. I’ve been focusing more attention on doing my part to reduce my carbon footprint and contribute to the sustainability of this planet as best as I can.

Going plant-based is one of the most powerful and impactful thing you could ever do, not just for your own individual health, but on a grander scale for the health and sustainability of our planet.
