#NETFLEXANDCHILL - thatโ€™s what our group is called. Why? Because we have access to HUNDREDS of workouts that we are able to stream right from our computers, tablets, or phones. Sooo like the Netflix for workouts. Get it? (I know, I know, Iโ€™m so dang clever!) ๐Ÿ™Š Not having to commute to a gym is hella convenient and it definitely helps us busy humans save time and still crush our workouts! ๐Ÿ‘Š๐Ÿผ And that gives us time to chill. This week has been a STRUGGLE. Itโ€™s like no matter what I did, I just couldnโ€™t seem to get into the swing of things. My schedule was all messed up in sooo many ways. ๐Ÿ˜’ And I blame summer. I LOVE summer. But summer is, without fail, a hella bust time of year! ๐Ÿ“† Weddings + baby showers + BBQs, oh my! ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ‘ถ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ—

THE WEEK IN REVIEW: I binge ate brownies (homemade vegan chickpea brownies buuut brownies nonetheless). ๐Ÿซ I totally failed at log the minimum 3 runs I need to log in order to be ready for my half marathon this fall. ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ I took my workout program mandated rest day on Wednesday and then ALMOST made Thursday and today a rest day too (but I didnโ€™t, I fought through the lethargy!) ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ I didnโ€™t work out in the morning AT ALL allll week (which is so sooo annoying because I always have waaay less energy at night to get it done). ๐Ÿ˜ด Oh, and tonight, while prepping to crush my workout, Luna got sick allll over my home gym floor. ๐Ÿคข๐Ÿถ#DOGMOMPROBLEMS - am I right?!

But as much as I feel like Iโ€™m currently a total mess, I feel like a lean, strong, BETTER mess, and I have my current HIIT + lift workout program to thank for THAT. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฝ It can go anywhere with me (cottage, park, balcony, etc.) and it only requires me to work out 4 times a week and 3 rest days. And paired with this mindful eating course Iโ€™m doing, Iโ€™ve been able to enjoy summer, NOT feel restricted on the foot front, and feel confident while sitting lakeside in my bikini! ๐Ÿ‘™
