My first boxing class was... a struggle. I was all power no technique at the beginning of class and it was humbling. I never thought my form and technique would be so bad, but I truly enjoyed the challenge. Can’t wait to try more new things, that push me mentally and physically.
So I’ve been working out at least 5 times a week recently. Around November, I hit the winter slump hard and gained a few pounds. So getting back into the grind was difficult, but worth it. It’s been amazing how much extra energy I have everyday. Also my nagging aches and pains in places like my back have almost fully gone away. My vegan diet is better and I have fully eliminated processed vegan foods. Sometimes it takes falling off your path to refocus you and get you back on track in a better place then you left. Embrace the struggle in everyday and good things will always come.
