Eat clean and train mean, whilst trying to have fun! 🔥🥒🥕🍆🥝🍠🍋🥥🍌🍏🔥 Diet and nutrition can sometimes be challenging and seen as being restrictive or a pain in the ass. This should not be the case! When putting together a good balanced diet which allows you to accomplish your nutritional and physical goals, we should have the ability to incorporate a range of different nutritional foods as well as sneaking in some cheeky unhealthy ones. This all comes down to understanding your macronutrient intake and how much you have to eat of each one (protein, fats and carbs), once you establish what that looks like for you, you can adjust your diet so that you decide where your macronutrient intake is coming from. ...................................................... In my opinion I always want to try and eat as clean and healthy as possible consuming whole-foods, this keeps my body functioning at it's best whilst keeping my gut health in tact. However, adding in the cheeky dessert also keeps me in a good mind space as my diet is not too restrictive and still allows room for me to eat some delicious foods at home or when I'm going out with friends. This in turn allows me to stay on track for longer periods of time all whilst still hitting my macronutrient targets for the day and not blowing out my daily food intake. ...................................................... In turn this can really help, not only your physical body, but help ensure you're eating the right foods for you to function optimally in your career or business. Most of us think diet only pertains to us working out or doing physical work but our nutritional intake has a massive impact on how our brain functions and the ability to think clearly and stay focused on tasks. This in turn clearly has a correlation with work performance if we are not eating right this will impact our brain and therefore not have us performing optimally, decreasing our capacity to deliver to our highest possible standard.

Reality is a factor of our own mindset and mental state. What that means is that everyone's reality is different based on their experiences, general mindset, life circumstances and their values & beliefs. What this means for most of us, is, we have a view of the world that is skewed based on these underlying factors, and in so dictates and shapes how we go about our life. Some of these factors can be assets and help drive us towards our goals, whilst some might be hindering and limiting us from achieving our goals

The limiting factors can be extremely detrimental as they are in fact constraining our reality of what we believe is possible for ourselves. One pan meal prep! Why is meal prepping important and how can it contribute to your daily success? I meal prep for a couple of reasons.

One my health and wellbeing are important to me so I want to control what I'm putting into my body and how much of it. This allows me to keep a healthy body and mind so that I'm firing off on all cylinders most days of the year (yes there are many other factors but diet is a crucial one)
................................................................................... Two meal prepping is financially cost effective. It allows me to minimise my spending whilst still intaking healthy foods and eating well. This allows more money to be positioned elsewhere, investing, savings, hobbies etc. ............................................................................ Three although meal prepping can take 3-4 hours on a given day, overall it saves an incredible amount of time during the week. No need to cook and clean constantly, it's all done on one day and the rest of the week I am able to focus on the things that are important and critical to smash targets. .................................................................................... It’s a beautiful day here in Sydney, and so what better way to start the day than going for a walk with @tiffanyburch_fitness  and my little pup @littlebrownbearlab around the Bay! 
Nothing better than a walk in the bright sun with fresh and a nice cool breeze to get you energised. Reaching ones goals takes time and dedication. Success (however we define it) is something that is constantly evolving and a journey. As we progress and strive to hit our goals our measures of success change in search of pushing ourselves that little further each day to be better than the day before. 
We also however, have to take time to acknowledge where we have come from and how much progress we have made! It’s easy to get stuck in always wanting to do better and feeling like we are either not progressing or never reaching our goals! So take some time to look back on your journey and see how far you’ve come!

Sometimes there are days where the last thing you want to do is workout. You’re tired, stressed from things happening at work or life, it’s cold outside it it’s raining and so you feel like just staying in and doing nothing. 👎

Every time I have those thoughts I remind myself that you always feel better after doing something that’s difficult or taxing, but I always feel bad when I just sit back and waste time and think I could have used that time a little more effectively and I will now never get that back! 
So if you’re feeling demotivated, this goes for anything you want to do not just working out, try to remember your why  and what the cost would be to you if you didn’t take every step towards achieving that! 🔥🔥 Stay hungry fam.

Closing in on my 14 day-raw cleanse! Surprisingly still feeling super energetic my workouts have been good, I don’t feel like I lost any strength in my lifts.
