WHO. AM. I?? Just did a little conditioning today - thought I'd capture it with a dramatic hammer shot 😂. Did sled pushes up from 50, 90, 130, 170 and 210kg on the sled. See how it goes slower... .
Also did some hammer on the tyre and quite a lot of lat pull downs and drag curls and reverse curls.
Today was a very good, if very long, session. Squats went up to 175kg for top 3 singles - Cap'n Cowell @kc_pl gave her blessing to attempt it for a double, provided I still did another two singles. So we did that and thanks to @danthegrappler for spotting. Then on to 155 for 2x3, followed by 130 for 3x8 high bar... Next up was 222.5kg block pull, this wasn't easy, but it got done with some welcome encouragement for the Constable Smol Badger @apesyjane_pl . 180kg for 3x2 got done then finished with 3x8 ab rollouts. I am pooped.
A good session training to cancel out the shitheap of a day otherwise. Epic volume and so happy I got it all done. 6x2 at 115kg bench, 2x10 at 92.5kg. incline press was 85kg for 3x6 and finished with push press at 75kg for 5x3...
Really pleased with today's session; posted in the wrong order but did tempo squats for 6x2 at 130 then pause deadlifts with a single at 180 followed by 3x3 at 150. I was surprised how easy the 180 felt, especially considering my ill advised off piste on Saturday gone. Maybe @crazypedros pizza has restorative properties...

Another mixed session, bench didn't go as I wanted. I was programmed for 5x3 at 125, but I still can't see to triple it. I did 4x2 at 125 and my arm began hurting from the ongoing shoulder issue. Thankfully I'm back in with @cmmassagetherapy to loosen it all off again on Wednesday. .
Went to deadlift and was programmed 210kg and then 190 for 3 singles but as I'm wilful and wanted to make myself feel better I went for 225 to see if I could do it whilst still maintaining reasonable form. It seems the answer is yes!
Another really positive squat session, 170 for top singles low bar, feeling way smoother than they have before. Backoffs 155 for 2 triples. Then high bar for 3x8 at 130. Finished with block pulls, 220 single was hard, then 2x3 backoffs at 180.
Pretty epic pressing session tonight, punctuated by watching the amazing @mari3lla_pl and @chrys_will_lift become World Champions in Calgary - well done!!
Today I managed 6x2 bench at 115, followed by attempts at 10 reps at 90kg. I did 7 reps where I stupidly kept hitting the bar on the rack, managed a set of 10 and then tried once more but only got 9. Triceps were beginning to get fatigued so managed 1x6 at 85 incline press but had to drop to 80 for the other 2 sets. Finished with 3x3 at 70kg push press but got kicked out the gym cos it was late 😂
Thank you so much to @cmmassagetherapy @clomorls . I did a full tempo squat session with zero shoulder pain! You can see set 1, 2 and 4 here, doubles at 130kg. Notice how I manage to refine the descent each time, making it slower and more controlled. Super happy with my form on these. Getting the bar further down my back has 100% helped. Followed with pause deadlifts, 170kg single followed by 3x3 at 140kg.
So since I didn't get the floor press done yesterday, I got it in today - managed 2x6 at 100kg then 2x10 and finished with 1x12 at 80. So did some tricep pushdowns to get some pump. I wish I could look that pumped all the time 😂
Bench can suck a dick today. Got 120, 1 double at 125 then nothing more; just went. So said fuck it and went and deadlifted instead. 170 was fine, 200 with strict form is not easy. Finished with 3 singles at 180.
Mixed session today, squats went really well; low bar position is much improved and everything is feeling easier. What's even better is that shoulder discomfort is absolutely minimal; can't thank you enough for this @cmmassagetherapy . Nearly fixed, sorta. So 3x1 at 165, 2x3 at 150 and then high bar 125 for 3x8. Except I did 9 because I lost count...
Block pulls were another story; failed 227.5 again and then 225, so eh. You've got 215 then 3x2 at 180. I was meant to do 5 but anxiety was really beginning to kick my ass at this point so I made tracks.
A pretty decent pressing session and very little shoulder soreness; so again thank you to @cmmassagetherapy - tomorrow you can finish the other side! Bench went well with 5x3 at 110kg and comp pauses all the way through. Incline bench was good, with 3x6 at 85kg and finished 5x5 overhead at 60, though only managed 3 on the last set; still happy!
Today was pretty good! Posted in the wrong order but did 6x2 tempo squats at 125 then pause deadlift at 160 for 3 singles followed by 2x3 at 130. I'm actually liking them, who am I any more @kc_pl ? I also did 3x10 lat pulldowns with 100 and a few random chinups so I could feel like a bro.
A tricky session; was intending to go for 125x2x6 but had to tap out after 4 and pass on floor press as my shoulders didn't want to play. Moved to deadlifts and got out 8x1 at 190 beltless. The last few were pretty damn hard.
A better squat session today, only very minimal shoulder soreness, so massive thanks to @cmmassagetherapy and see you tomorrow 😂 today was 182.5 for top single and 157.5 for 3x3 backoffs. Then 125 for 3x8 high bar and finished on block pulls. Was programmed for 227.5 but sadly failed it today, last warmup was 220 so that's ok, though didn't get that on video. Finished with 180x2 for 5 sets. Ded.
Despite being a numpty and forgetting to film it, I got a rep PB on bench! Considering how my shoulders are at the moment and that it was my 2nd attempt I got it on; I am pleased. 130x2. Onward and upward! Filmed is 2x3 at 120 bench, 3x8 82.5 incline press and 1x4 OHP at 62.5. Also did another 2 sets of 3 at the same; shoulders were knackered.
Well it happened, I got shit enough to need remedial squats. Back to tempos today as 4-1-0; did 5x3 at 120. Then on to paused deadlifts, single at 150, 3x3 at 120. Finished with some ab pulldowns as well
