Yesterday the #Zimbabwe Alumni made the first project success stories follow up visit in Mrehwa District in Mashonaland East Province. We visited Kuziva Chatukuta site where he is doing Solar Drying on Post Harvest value addition. He is also into poultry production. About 500 households are benefiting from his projects. He is impacting the lives of people in his community. This is how YALI has changed his life.
Look closely at this photo. Do you see the #joy ? This sweet boy turned four today and he is all smiles. Barely two years ago he and his siblings lost everything but each other. Thank you for seeing him through to another birthday! #birthdays#lovingchildren#zimbabwe#kudavana
The Harare leg of Expedition #K2K stars the iconic @drmtukudzi ! Fondly referred to as “Tuku”, he’s been a household name on this side of the world for decades, and has been a strong advocate for social and environmental awareness. It is an immense honor to have the chance to help visualize the emotionally compelling track, “Matope” (Mud), which highlights the stark contrast of the past’s childlike freedom to play in the mud without worry, with the present’s current environmental dangers of diseased soil, litter, and pollution. Stay tuned for more updates from the shoot soon!
Keep your vision!
Today I’ve had an impactful last call with my body-therapist. Things are changing. Our work is completed. One thing he made me realize in my bones is that the calling I follow, the vision I have, the mission I‘m on is completely unique to me. This deeper listening started a long time ago. I can track the first traces of it when I was sixteen. Now I‘m thirty-seven. When I look at it that way I‘ve already come a long way.
Keep your vision - feel it - and life will show you the way!
