Durian prata, durian crab and durian sushi? If your family are true blue lovers of the king of fruits, you have to try the decadent durian buffet at The Line, Shangri-La Hotel Singapore.
Besides a range of durian-inspired buffet dishes, you can also indulge in fresh D21, D24 and Hong Xia varieties at an outdoor kiosk – they’re cracked open for you on the spot.
Of course, there are loads of other non-durian dishes in the extensive buffet line for you to savour, and you can drop the kids off at the popular Buds Playground next door, too.
The durian buffet happens at dinner time daily until Aug 31 and costs from $98++ per adult, $49++ per child aged six to 11. If you just want to try the durian and local fruit buffet, it’s $58++ per adult and $28++ per child. Call 6213-4398 or visit www.fb.com/shangrilasingapore
