Did you know when you rent a bike at The Westin Ottawa all proceeds will go back to @cheohospital and help kids like Aman.
Aman Sidhu is a positive young lady with big plans. A diagnosis of Stage 2 Hodgkin’s lymphoma was scary, but she stayed optimistic and faced cancer treatment with a beautiful smile. Thanks to her outlook and the expert care she received at CHEO, today she is thriving! Aman stays active with Pilates and boxing, she will begin studies at Ottawa U this fall and she hopes to travel the world. As Aman says, “I want to see it all – I want to do it all! And I can, thanks to CHEO!” #bikeWESTIN#givingback#HERO4CHEO

Hi I'm Charlie :) Not so little know fact about me is that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE SUMMER!! Being one day into summer I can already tell it will be an exciting season! I'm photographing my first wedding of the Summer tomorrow (sixth of the year) and I'm over the moon with the 7 clear umbrellas I was just able to borrow from a local boutique 🙈 Although I'm sad a bunch of rain is forecasted for tomorrow; I'm so glad my couple will still have gorgeous outdoors photos! How are you coping with the rain forecasted this weekend?

Danish Salim, Senior Analyst, Home and Continuing Care, @CIHI_ICIS 〰️
“During my Master of Public Health studies at Queen’s University, I heard a lot about CIHI and its work on health information in Canada. Having an interest in working with health data myself, I always wanted to work with CIHI in some capacity. After some contract work with the Public Health Agency of Canada, I secured an analyst role with the Rehabilitation and Mental Health team in 2015, and have been with CIHI since then! 😊 Along with my interest in health data, a big part of my motivation to work at CIHI has to do with applying this information to help improve health outcomes. I really enjoy the work–life balance CIHI offers, the amazing people I have had the pleasure of working with, and the variety of opportunities to improve my skill set and knowledge of health information in Canada. So far, I have learned about different areas of health reporting, including rehabilitation services and health workforce. In my new role, I hope to learn about home and continuing care reporting in Canada and to contribute to the ongoing work of improving access to home and continuing care for Canadians.”
