When you go into the gym what do you think about? The exercises you don’t like? How many reps and sets your PT has told you to do? Maybe how quickly can you get this over and done with? Honestly all of the above should come secondary. Showing up isn’t enough. It’s a start. But you need drive from within.
Your mindset in the gym is where you are going to see true results. It doesn’t matter if your lifting 5kgs or 100kgs, if you dedicate your way of thinking to the exercise itself and getting the most out of it by performing it correctly, maybe squeezing a little harder and a little longer or controlling the weight just abit more - that is when you see true results. Don’t worry about what anybody else is doing. Focus on yourself and your goals and the movement that you are doing in that moment. Push yourself, challenge yourself and don’t give up. Your mind and your body will become stronger if you can just focus💪 @nrg_hc_gympie
Sunday Thoughts... Like a garden, our life can grow and flourish beautifully bearing good fruits in the areas we intentionally take time to care for. Good fruits are being healthy, feeling great, having a positive mindset, a peaceful and joyful spirit, a giving heart to help and serve others, have meaningful relationships, and much more. And if we neglect taking time to nourish certain areas in our life- body, mind, spirit, relationships- just like a garden again, we can stop growing in the areas we neglect... slowly erode, be easily contaminated with weeds of negative feelings/thoughts/words deteriorating our being. I find it interesting that what we neglect, we become vulnerable to the negative influences that seem to be right there ready to take over us. Remember, God planted us as seeds on earth. He created you in his vision. God has a plan for you to flourish beautifully in ways that have yet to be seen. You’ll see/feel the love, hope, and the greatness God has in store for you if you are INTENTIONAL in taking time to NOURISH your garden. What areas in your life have you been neglecting and need more nourishing? As we head into a new week, reflect and make a plan on what needs to be nurtured in your life. Schedule time and put in the work for your garden of life because YOU ARE AMAZING, and oh so worth it! 💖

Current status: Loving every minute of what I do 😜1. I help others for a living. Helping them with their health, fitness, and lifestyle AND with finding financial freedom. 2. Mentoring women to empower and uplift other women 💁🏾♀️ I used to read this kind of thing and say “there’s no way I could ever help anyone like that” until I made it my mission to step out of my comfort zone and find my purpose. If you’ve been following up till now let me ask you… WHY NOT YOU?! This didn’t happen overnight but I can say if I didn’t take the first step I wouldn’t be here talking to you 😘 #thecoachlife#joinme#askmehow
8. IT'S OK TO TAKE A BREAK.
I have hard time with this one myself. Always seem to be going and going, even when I'm in jammies.
As entrepreneurs, we don't have that 8 to 5, clock-in clock-out mentality. We know that we are our own boss and we are solely responsible for the success of our businesses.
The problem with this is that we don't give ourselves a break when we really need to. There's a certain amount of guilt that comes with taking a break, no matter how long or short.
If you really think about it, that bit of guilt is short-lived when you let yourself just relax, you get immersed with chilling out and enjoying something other than work. You're a bit happier and happiness leads to productivity.
Give yourself permission to take a break, a vacation, a day with family, go on a date, go hiking, finish a painting, hit up a happy hour or some other fun activity you've been missing out on due to work.
This custom cuff turned out so perfect! With the quote “BE FEARLESS in the pursuit of what sets your soul on fire”, hand stamped on the inside of the cuff.
This started off as me being funny, but this is so true. Stop wasting your time waiting around for the one you want or your future husband to show up when you’re not even in position to receive. The Lord needs to find you in position to release what it is that He wants to give you. Daydreaming won’t get you there... And if you’re house ain’t in order, then🤷🏾♀️
Proverbs 31:27- She watches over the affairs of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness

TRAINING SESSION. Body part : LEGS Last exercise is kettlebell split squats. All controlled and utilizing proper form. I particularly enjoy this movement. It’s all about balance, strong core, endurance and coordination. It’s a challenging movement and definitely tests your mental resolve. As always, let me remind you that all these leg exercises can be done without weight. Practice with light weights until you get it right. Form is paramount. Train smart. Stay strong. “Putting it All Together” was the theme of tonight’s last Sunday meeting of the semester. These Wise Students have been preparing for finals since last month, and they’re ready to show what they know this week! Look on the next image to see their reflections on how much they’ve grown over this first semester... From thinking that they were organized and realizing that they weren’t (who knew?!🤷🏻♀️ 😅) to growing comfortable asking teachers for help regularly... and writing things down, taking control of their online portals and looking ahead constantly, to being positive role models for their friends and sharing successful strategies with them, these students are aware of all the great changes they’ve made for the better. 🎉 Well done, everyone! 🙌Wishing you the best this week - you’re so ready!!! 🤩#wisestudent#organized#confident#happy#finals#workhard#yougotthis#freshman#sophomore#junior#senior#highschool#planneraddict

PUSH THROUGH YOUR WEAKNESSES UNTIL THEY BECOME YOUR STRENGTHS!
I think it's safe to say that we all have our own specific weakness in life. Whatever that weakness may be...proper nutrition, daily self care, an insecurity about ourselves, a particular fear, or that person or relationship we can't let go of...we all have one!
We sometimes look at our weaknesses in a negative manner. After all, they make us uncomfortable and vulnerable.
But, what if we viewed our weaknesses differently? What if we looked at those weaknesses as a challenge? What if we stepped outside our comfort zone and pushed through the weaknesses?
Might those very weaknesses become our greatest strengths? I say it's possible! Why? Because when we learn how to become comfortable in our own discomfort, we start to unleash that hidden strength we didn't realize existed. We start to realize that we have the power to create strength through our weaknesses.
All it takes is the willingness to push through! Worth it? I think so!
