Do you feel like you ruined your diet if you had 1 extra morsel than what you had planned? Because you “screwed up” you throw your hands in the air and say “screw it” and wallow over an entire gallon of ice cream?

I lived this way for sooooo long that I felt a tad insane by the end of it. Jkjk not a tad. I felt 100% insane. My life was a roller coaster ride full of highs and lows. My emotions were all over the place and my actions followed. Week day perfect and binging on the weekends. I was a hot mess. I even remember telling myself that if this is what it takes to get abs then I didn’t want them. All I wanted was to be happy in my own skin.
Come to find out I had it all wrong 🤦🏼♀️
❌thought the only way to reach my goals was to eat the same thing every day for the rest of my life.
❌I thought ‘dieting’ meant I could not eat what I loved to eat like chocolate 😩
❌I thought I was suppose to hate my body until it was perfect.
❌I thought eating like a bird was the only way to lose fat.
❌I thought my beliefs about myself had no impact on reaching my goals.
Here is the truth-
✅Transformation starts with your mind- how you think about yourself, food and the world around you.
✅If you want your goals to be sustainable, your lifestyle has to incorporate healthy habits.
✅You have to STOP being a perfectionist. You don’t live in a bubble so you have to learn how to adapt to change. It’s a part of life.
✅You can enjoy eating out, eating dessert and STILL reach your goals.
✅When you stop obsessing over the scale and how your body looks, the journey becomes a lot more enjoyable. One day you’ll get there with all your marbles.

Cannot believe i managed to do this in 6 short weeks. Still not at goal but its only the beginning. The best thing about this is my relationship with food has been healed. If i want to eat out or have a treat i just fit it into my macros. If i go over my carbs for the day by a little i no longer hate myself. Its all about BALANCE.
