As I get older (I know, I'm ONLY 23) I'm really starting to analyze my life. And with that, I've came to the conclusion that guess what, this is MY life!
Anyone read "Girl Wash Your Face" by Rachel Hollis? Gosh, if you haven't yet.. you need to! This book was AMAZING! And what was even MORE AMAZING, Rachel Hollis in the flesh, came to Rodan and Fields Convention this past weekend as the guest speaker, ekk! Listening to her is so inspiring! One of her statements that really spoke out to me was, " I refuse to make myself small just because you can't handle all of me". Jeez guys, if this doesn't hit you deep into your core, I don't know what will! I have decided since the moment that she said those words, that yes, I refuse to make myself small just so I can please everyone else. This is MY life that God has so graciously given to me, and what greater gift back to the lord and in turn to myself and to others, then by living the life he has given me with a tremendous amount of passion and purpose that is firing within me! We are ALL made for so much MORE! So, as Rachel Hollis gave me this incredible advice, I found it so very necessary to share this with all of you. May you live YOUR life large, without the permission from those who are not able to handle ALL of you. .
**IMPORTANT!!**This post is for anyone out there having a hard day; for anyone who just received life changing news, or is dealing with the most confusing trial imaginable. Sometimes, nobody can say anything to change the way you feel. Sometimes you just have to feel it, as sucky as it is. One of my dear friends told me some devastating news today; my heart is just broken for her and her family. My prayers go out today, like they do everyday, for those struggling with difficult obstacles. Look out for those around you, and be aware that someone might be struggling. I’m going to give you a typical fitness response right now and say it depends.
The reason I say this is
because it completely depends on where you are on your fitness journey.
If you understand carbs, fats and protein, you can gauge how many calories are in a meal by looking at it
or if you have been tracking for years, then no, you probably don’t need to track.
Recently I stopped
tracking calories myself and have become more in tune with being actually hungry rather than eating for
the sake of eating.
This is where I think tracking can be useful, particularly for beginners. Tracking is essentially writing a
food diary every day to identify where you may be going wrong, or to help you be consistent so you can
keep making the right choices to suit your goals.
I’ve lost count of the number of times I hear someone say “I don’t eat that much, but I still can’t lose
weight”. However when we track back they forget the couple of biscuits they had, the mayonnaise on the side of their meal, the sugar and milk in their tea/coffee.
All these small things add up. This is where
tracking can help to identify those small errors, where you might be going wrong and point you in the right
So to conclude, if you have an understanding of macro nutrients and what you need to be consuming on
a daily basis to reach your goals, then no, you probably don’t need to track. However, if you’re not sure
where you are going wrong with regards to your diet, then tracking might be a useful way to give you a
better understanding of carbs, fats, protein and where you total calories are coming from.

Den ich finde Personen, die andere ernidrigen um sich selber zu stärken sollten mal die möglichkeit bekommen, auchmal ihren Mann zu stehen aber nicht mit Worten....
Ich bin kein Mann der Gewalt, aber manchmal denke ich, dass früher Probleme anderst gelöst wurden.
Man klärte ein Problem vor der Tür und trank anschliessend ein Bier zusammen...
Heutzutage endet sowas Böse, darum lieber Hände weg von Gewalt...
An alle die auf irgendeine Art geärgert werden am Arbeitsplatz, oder Menschen beobachten wie sie zur Sau gemacht werden , nicht gleich reinschlagen, sondern ruhig bleiben, sich Zeit lassen und in Ruhe eine Lösung suchen...
