Today is the day for my BIG announcement...because I'm about to POP! After about 8 months of dreaming, hoping, planning, and coordinating, it's officially official...we're moving to MAINE! I grew up in Southern Maine and it's always been a dream of mine to go back. So we're packing our bags and boxes and heading up north for the next year! I'm still pinching myself that my boys will be able to experience what makes New England one of the most magical, beautiful places to live. I'm so excited to document and share with you our move from Charleston, SC to York, ME...'The Mizzells Move to Maine!' I hope you follow our adventure, so stay tuned.
To all my families here in Charleston and Columbia, I'll see all your smiling faces next summer when we return, and to all my peeps in New England and the Seacoast area, I CANNOT wait to get you all in front of my camera lens soon... I'm so giddy with excitement!! More to come on our adventure.
Thank you to everyone who entered to win two tickets to @oldyorkhistorical's Open Doors of York house and garden tour! The winner of the giveaway is ✨@lexxi.parker ✨ Congratulations! For those that are interested in buying tickets, head over to oldyork.org 🏡🌷
I'm so super excited that my illustration submission was selected to be in the next issue of @uppercasemag 🌞 The prompt was to illustrate your favorite packaging. I've always had fond memories of these salt water taffy boxes from summers in Maine!
Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who joined us for Taste of the Nation 2018 last night. This event was a labor of love and there are so many people to thank for putting this event together. To our corporate sponsors, food & beverage vendors, suppliers, in-kind donators, grant recipients, volunteers, and board members, THANK YOU. Taste of the Nation would not be at all possible without your time, dedication, and hard work. 🙏🏻 Together, we are MAKING A DIFFERENCE in our community and beyond.
I love you like the ocean loves the shore - I’ll kiss you sweetly and keep coming back for more.
When your couple brags about how much fun they’re going to have with you at their wedding to all their friends, you count down the freaking days til it’s FINALLY their epic wedding day! And then you get a little sad on the drive home when you realize it’s over... 💙
I promised you I’d have a surprise for you, @aadelbone & @acooke1216 . Friday was incredible. Let’s do it again every Friday. 😜

I am back from a six day trip to Boston and the surrounding towns. Along the way, I visited a few spots in Boston which I hadn’t been to before, as well as day trips to Newport, RI; Rockport, MA; and the towns of Kennebunkport, Wells, Ogunquit, and York in Maine. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I captured this photo on the outskirts of York Harbor Beach, near the southern edge of the Cliff Walk in York. The weather on this day changed rapidly from 90°F heat to a cloudy, moody afternoon in which thunderstorms were looming in the distance. This golden hour made for a wonderful respite.

Born and raised in southern Maine, Chance brings a local flare to our team of transplants. He actually started his CrossFit career in the Mecca of California but returned home to the better of the coasts.
An outdoorsman at heart, Chance stays active by being a guy’s guy with hunting, fishing, skiing, and golfing. He’s certainly not a stranger to high intensity training: a high-level wrestler, he led his high school program as a senior captain.
He earned his CF-L1 in January of 2017 and has been using his people skills to share his love of fitness. He attributes his decision to join the Harpoon family as one of his best choices in his adult life because he loves giving back to his local community by helping our members along in their CrossFit journey.
We love having Chance as a part of our team and you will love him just as much as a coach!
After a total of 8 years (2 years planning and 6 years of being told “you need to wait another 1-2 years”), Nick and I have finally purchased our forever home together! It was a long and frustrating journey that kept us wondering if we would ever make it right up until closing. It was worth every sleepless night. We are the proud stewards of this amazing antique home in York, ME! I’m still pinching myself. There were so many wonderful people who lovingly dedicated themselves to helping us buy our dream home. Nick and I are forever grateful 💕. Now on to the renovations 🛠 #antiquehome#oldhouse#oldhouselove#yorkmaine#homeowners#renovation#wecandoit#cape#yellowhouse#itsoriginal#newengland#homesweethome#wehaveayard
We are so honored and excited to be part of Taste of the Nation this year!! @nkhseacoast is an amazing cause and we are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to our neighbors in need. Everyone deserves food, especially healthy food, and the No Kid Hungry team is here to make this possible. Thank you so much for having us — we can’t wait!! If you’re going to Taste of the Nation tonight, be sure to say Aloha and enjoy a taste of Hawaii with us! 🌺 XO, Stacy & Jay. 📸x @malloyevents
