Being attractive is way beyond being good looking. Sure that can be part of it but a very small part.
Think about the people you are drawn towards. What is it that makes you want to be around them more or leaves you feeling good and on a higher vibrations? Odds are it’s the positive energy that’s being put out there!
Your energy is contagious good and bad. How you leave someone feeling will last longer than anything. Don’t be afraid to be the bubbly person and put yourself out there. We need more people in the world being themselves and spreading joy.
I’m learning to let go and stop judging myself because life is to short to not just be happy.
Be so positive that the negative doesn’t stand a chance 💕😉 Day 2 and I’m feeling real good 🥰
“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do then by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” Mark Twain Am I taking things too literally..? 😏 But do throw some yoga in while you’re at it!
TREE POSE - Tree Pose is pretty simple, right? I mean you stand on one leg and try not to fall over, that's about it...isnt it? Well, yes and no. This posture is simple in it's appearance, however, as it is a hip opener, most of us will usually have to expect to add a big ole dollop of complicated into the posture mix!
Why? Okay, here's the posture lowdown...
Our bodies are clever, sneaky even and they will often try to find the path of least resistence in a posture, especially when our pesky 'monkey brain' allows it to. In this case, the body will try to comensate for having tight hips, by, well theres no other way to put it...by "cheating". .
Remember what you are trying to acheieve in the pose. Forget about advancing and making the hands look pretty in prayer position. Instead, focus on getting your heel in line with your belly button (in a central line), then slowly, patiently and mindfully encourage the knee down and back, without letting your raised foot drop, or your lower back arch, which will result in your bum starting to stick out behind you...otherwise known as 'duck butt'!
Done right, this posture has lots to offer, not just more flexible and mobile hips.
In addition to ☝️, this posture will help to relieve lower back pain, release tension in your abdomen and with repetition, Tree Pose will stretch your spine which will help to correct your posture. It will increase the mobility and flexibility of your hips, (OBVS!) and your knees.
Oh, and over time it will improve your balance.
So there you go, not so simple afterall, but definitely worth the effort!
Remember, it's not about the end result, it's how you get there that counts!
For real. How do people live without doing yoga. What about the aches and the pains from every day living, sitting in desks all day, standing, lifting , playing sports, dancing. Yoga has helped me out so much mentally and physically that I will practise it forever. We are told to learn from our elders and alot of them have mobility issues. so it makes sense to start as soon as possible to prevent that. You don't have to be flexible to begin yoga but in time it will improve your flexibility. My yoga journey started with a 30day yoga with adriane challenge and then eventually i started going to classes. Since then I aim to make it to two classes a week and practise in house whenever possible. Peace

“People usually consider walking on water or in thin air a miracle. But I think the real miracle is not to walk either on water or in thin air, but to walk on earth. Every day we are engaged in a miracle which we don't even recognize: a blue sky, white clouds, green leaves, the black, curious eyes of a child -- our own two eyes. All is a miracle.”

Snowy day in the Pacific Northwest calls for my favorite cup of honey lavender stress relief tea from @yogitea 💜 I've been obsessing over this tea for a few years now, just ask my family & friends. It has also been a part of my anxiety 'kit' in my healing journey.
Sometimes, our desires are so strong that we fear the idea of them not coming true to the point where we are blocking our vibration and our own manifestation process.
When you begin to feel chaotic or fearful, instead of reacting impulsively, focus on coming back to the source of your vibrational alignment so the universe can react according to your energy.
Don’t attempt to control your energy in order to get your desired results. Let go and fill yourself with source energy. Once you need nothing you attract everything 🔮

Snow in California!! ❄️ After the major drought California experiences a few years back every winter I get nervous praying for rain and snow. Back then I was backpacking the sierras in mid January with no snake at all! California grows so much agricultural produce that is shipped around the world that so much of our country and parts of the world rely on the rain and snow California receives. Happy that we have had some good rain and snow so far this year and more is forecasted. Always keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 doing my rain dance 🕺and praying 🙏 for more 🌧 ☔️!! Always finding what I need in nature.
Ever feel like life threw a wrench into your routine?? If you peeped my story the other day you know I struggled big time during this workout. It was a difficult one; not because it was just a hard workout, but because I got sooooo angry at myself for how hard it was for ME to complete.
-During this semester, I've lost a lot of strength and endurance, and doing this workout made me feel really disappointed in myself for training less. But then, after some reflection, I realized that I shouldn't be mad at myself for MY current season of life. I am juggling 5 classes, work, and studying for a certification (which I just passed today-woohoo!!) and that's A LOT. It doesn't make me a bad person for only being able to workout when I can. And it doesn't make me any less of a trainer for focusing on school and graduating with a degree I've worked nearly a decade for.
-DONT BEAT YOURSELF UP like I did. Things happen, life changes, and you might just have to shift your attention for a while. I am lucky that I still got myself to exercise at least 2-3x a week and walked my doggo every single day. That's the maximum I could do some weeks, and that should be celebrated, not seen as a disappointment!
With finals and that certification exam this week, I have to keep in mind that I can and willlllll get back to where I was before. My human body and brain can only handle so much sometimes, and yours too!! Give yourself GRACE, and congratulate yourself for the small wins, even if they are tiny compared to your previous wins 💁🏻♂️👍🏼💪🏼
🤸🏽♀️The yoga inversions🤸🏽♂️do not have to produce panic🤪.
But it is necessary to realize that this ability is not achieved overnight.
⏳Requires learning. It is a slow process. It requires discipline, and responsibility.⌛️.
🤥 It would be absurd to think that in a single attempt we can all stand on our heads and maintain our balance with our arms😋.
🙌🏽But if you intend to incorporate yoga inversions in your practice, make sure you are guided by a Yoga Instructor (o), be patient and that it! 🙏🏽.

When life gives you a daddy that’s at a conference all week you work with it 💁🏼♀️We started rough this morning y’all. Real rough.
But through nine years of being a mom and a few good years really working on MYSELF, I’ve found the only way to make it a better day is too make sure I take care of myself and switch my mindset. So we might not make it anywhere on time today and I might be serving drive through chick fil-a for dinner in my husbands sweat pants but I’ll be giving some darn good happy snuggles tonight.
