Spending this rainy cold day cleaning and organizing. Cleaned up and organized my “altar” my sanctuary.❤️. And these are not all my books, lol. That’s a picture of my brother Michael who passed in 1992, and my “NC Dad” who passed away in 2015. Both wise and loving souls who touched me in a deep and impactful way. And the other pictures are ones I took of Mother Nature. So much wisdom to learn from her. It days like today when I like to sit and peruse through different readings, and just soak up the or teachings.❤️🙏🏻 #wearelovestrong#yogateacher#yogaforlife#yogaeverydamnday#yogamom#buddhist#yogialtar#foreverlearning#alwaysastudent

Meet O-Pattamaporn Somchit, Co-Owner & Yoga Teacher/Personal Trainer @owildthing
"Yoga is a journey to help all of us to slow down and reconnect with ourselves. In a way that help us to heal in the area that each one of us needs at that moment at their own pace and their own time. Anything is possible when you start trusting, believing in your potential and don’t forget to be compassion to yourself.”
And now three things remain - faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Corinthians 13:13
With Thanksgiving just a week away, love, gratitude and appreciation for life’s blessings has been on my heart in a very big way lately.
This #yogateacher journey has made me realize how grateful I am to have a loving spouse who unconditionally supports our family in the most selfless way possible.
In case you don’t hear it as much as you should, thank you for all that you do @tylermcbroom. You are loved more than you will ever know❤️
As the the sky becomes more gray and the cold air starts to bite, we honor the desire to curl up in the comfort of familiar spaces. These moments of self-reflection and solitude are wonderful opportunities to reconnect to our spirits. It is healthy to honor what our bodies are telling us we need. It is essential to give ourselves space, particularly for anyone who practices healing arts professionally.
However tempting it may be to revert to this practice all of the time when it’s cold, as humans, we must also honor the importance of connection. We are designed to love and to connect. The cold air may not be enough to provide us with the physical warmth that we crave, but we experience a subtle heat from within if we tap into one of our greatest sources of natural energy—our hearts. Once we find it, it’s contagious. We have the capacity to share it with anyone we come in contact with.
I had the tremendous fortune of meeting the angelic Jessie May Wolfe @heartrisemovement at Ludlow House yesterday. It was beautiful to witness a soul with so much natural radiance, and one who is so generous in sharing her gift as a connector. She created space for us to experience a sense of inner warmth and positivity. She guided us to witness our emotions, feel them, and release them. Most importantly, she encouraged us to connect, listen to, and see each other.
Jessie is offering another Heart Rise experience tonight at 7pm at The Hoxton Hotel in Williamsburg. It’s free! (P.S. Did you know that the human heart has enough electromagnetic force to light up an entire city?!) ❣️🔥 #winteriscoming#findingwarmth#coworkingspaces#community#connectwithme#naturalradiance#heartrise#heartenergy#sharingspace#loveisinfinite#yogateacher#ilovenewyork#thevelvetroom#ludlowhouse#sohohouse
ETHICAL HOLIDAY MARKETING |
Somehow, it’s November. (Anyone else feel like 2018 was about 15 minutes long?)
And that means we’re hurtling toward the holiday season at quite a clip. And THAT means many of us are madly scrambling to concoct marketing plans that will help us take advantage of the upcoming gift-buying frenzy.
We’d like to suggest a new twist: Make sure those marketing and business plans align with your ethics.
It’s so easy to get sucked into the vortex of gift guides and gimmicks, clickbait and formulas. We totally get it. The online business world is crowded and cutthroat right now, and it’s tough to stick to your beliefs. It’s tough to resist when dozens of supposed-experts tell you to push your offerings hard and often and relentlessly.
It’s tough to consider dialing back during a sales season when everyone else is amping up. But you can do this.
You can do what’s right instead of what’s easy.
And, in the long run, it’ll benefit your business. Why?
🌟Because you won’t burn out. You’ll remain aligned with your true goals and mission long after your competition has grown weary of tricking customers into short-term sales.
🌟Because you’ll build deep trust and lasting relationships that carry you well beyond December and January.
🌟Because you might make less money in the short term, but you’ll also make fewer compromises.
Listen in to hear our suggestions for piloting your business through the holiday shopping and gifting season in ways that promote quality, heartfelt creation, and genuine connection.
Us hi esperem? Inscripcions obertes!😍
Be grateful for the moments in life that break your heart, they only open it further showing you your ability to love.
Don’t close yourself off and let fear control you. Simply surrender to the chaos that life is, no one is ever ready. Stay open and surrender to the exciting things that lay ahead
I want to leave life with bruised knees, cuts and scrapes. I want to have battle scars from all the life I have lived

I've recently become proud of my grit. Starting to notice that I am a kick ass strong female who is constantly growing - instead of my old story which was always focused on where I lacked strength/ where I needed to grow. There's always things u can't do, or don't have, but once we are showing up/ digging deep THAT'S what we should be proud of. The grit to commit to grow...
“El yoga es como la música: el ritmo del cuerpo, la melodía de la mente y la armonía del alma.” B.K.S. Iyengar.
Feliz de invitarlos este y todos los lunes a las 8,20am a Yoga Sonidos del Mar, en la Veleta Tulum, donde estaré compartiendo practicas de Yoga. Un abrazo bien fuerte, Namaste 🙏🏻✨❤️ #tulumyoga @yogasonidodelmar #yoga#laveleta#yogainspiration#yogateacher
Wake up. Move. Pet the cat.
Got out of bed and literally went right to my mat. My body needed movement and I just let whatever came to me, flow through.
Gusto decided it was prime time for snuggles and attention before he goes off to find a place to sleep the day away. You'll notice a lot of tap-tap-tapping throughout. 🐈
Greetings! 🔆 for those of you who don’t know me, or are new to my page, my name is Brooke. I live on the Central Coast in beautiful San Luis Obispo. So, I instruct yoga. But, this whole, “teaching yoga” is way, way, waaay bigger than me. The energy that circulates in the room, some of the things that are downloaded through me & I say, the journeys that the students go on, is so larger than life I am only nearly beginning to fathom. Some kinda magic happens when two forces combine together—a space holder (teacher) who is excited to provide a safe container for willing & able participants (students) to unfold a purely organic experience of their practice. Within those slow, sweet, & soft moments, we become receptive sponges. Deep inner wisdoms, realizations, unfurl to be fully felt by the practitioner. There is so much to be learnt & heard within those moments of silence + stillness. I do not take for granted having the privilege of being able to guide fellow beings through this sacred practice. It really is a big deal. Thank you to all who show up and give me purpose. I am utterly and endlessly grateful. 🙏🏻😭🖤 #thankyou#iloveyou#sloyogis#commUnity#sloyoga#sloyogacenter#sparkyogaslo#sloyogacommunity#sloyogafam
✨What feeds your soul?✨ .
This is a new question @venetiafalconer asks at the end of her podcasts, and it always gets me thinking.
For me, I couldn’t put it down to just one thing, but lots of things. So here are just a few things that definitely light me up;
Yoga - of course. It has completely transformed my life. Practice and teaching alike.❤️
Nature 🍂🌷 - without a doubt - the change of seasons, the air, the sunsets, all the different colours it brings.
Laughter and genuine connection- especially with those I love so dearly.. and especially when I hear the chuckles of my nieces.💕
Music 🎶- of ALL sorts. For me, there’s something extremely powerful about it.
How about you? What feeds your soul? The things that give you that uplifted, joyful, warm & fuzzy feeling like no other?❤️
Though I’ve been teaching yoga for a while now, believe it or not, I still get nervous before class. One thing I do to to ensure both my students and myself have a great class: say hello 👋🏻! It helps transform my nervousness into excitement and when I’m a student, it alleviates some of the nerves before class as well! Whether you’re a teacher or a student, what’s one thing you enjoy l, do or appreciate before class? Comment below and let me know! #yogateachertips#yogabycandace#yogateachertraining#yogateacher#yoga#yogateacherlife#yogateaching
❤️❤️❤️ #yogateacher#yogatherapy#doktor#live#love#soul#spirit#energy

Healing fingertips trace gentle circles on my head,
coaxing the oil deep into
each thirsty pore.
Patch by grateful patch,
my scalp welcomes the warmth,
the tender touch.
The forehead next,
then down the length of the neck…
every cell of my body is soaked
Haaaave you met Juli? Her soothing voice and silly jokes are just a few of the draws to join into her class.. 😊 She is also a graduate of our YTT program! “YTT at Spirit literally changed my life up to that point. Now I'm not promising you're going to be reborn or anything, and there have been other major changes and shifts post-YTT, However it really provided me with the opportunity to look at myself and the world around me through a different lens. This new perspective still persists, changes, and evolves.” We are so thankful for Juli and her presence in our community ♥️ Come see her Monday’s 3:30pm, Tuesday’s 3:30pm, and Thursday’s 7pm!!
As caretakers, we hear the message (whether it’s from ourselves or others) that we have to take care of others first. For some of us, self-care is a constant effort, but you are worth it. What can you do to take care of yourself today?
Not being able to touch your toes in a forward fold doesn’t make you bad at yoga, me being able to almost touch my elbows in a forward fold doesn’t make me good at yoga - all it means is that you might have tighter hamstrings than me! Yoga is not measured by our physical flexibility or our physical strength, because there is no such thing as being good or bad at yoga. Yoga is a practice, it’s a daily ritual. So show up on your mat, show compassion and kindness towards others and especially towards yourself, breathe – that is yoga.
