I grew up with these boys. For 25 years we climbed trees, played with GI Joes, played ball in the house (sorry mom), had snowball fights, played all the sports, ran from police, ingested substances legal and illegal, held each other up, put each other down, laughed, cried and more. But getting to travel with these guys to Peru for 10 days connected us more than the 25 years that led up to it. It was truly a trip of a life time- not because of the magic of Peru- but because I was able to do it with my brothers. Here’s to the next 25 years of life with my crew! So blessed for not just these guys but for all of the people in my life.

I absolutely love this quote, and it has given me a new sense of hope. It's not IF the miracles will happen, but WHEN 😍
Yogi Bhajan talked a lot about abundance, prosperity and miracles. Like many great teachers, he emphasized that prosperity must begin on the inside. He taught 3 Laws of Prosperity, which if put into practice will adjust your attitude completely. A person can have all of the money, fame, and trappings of wealth without having what can rightly be called prosperity. When one's internal attitude is out of alignment, it doesn't matter what that person has or doesn't have in the material world. When we connect with an internal attitude of prosperity, we become like a magnet. The abundance of the universe flows to us without stopping.
Last week I started with my prosperity practices & doubling it all up during the 40 days (finish this 11th year with a bang!!!!)!!
Are you currently doing any practices?
...and that's a wrap!
It's been a big year for us at AYTT. Sweat and tears. Navigating through discomfort. Unwavering support and openness. A shit load of love and growth. We are so grateful. Now, to spend quality time with our family - which means switching off in some areas so we can be more present in others.
Thanks so much for sharing the journey ❤ We will see you in the new year!
Mobility isn’t just being loose and flexible. It’s having control over your body. Passive stretching gives passive results. I’ve been incorporating more active stretching in my body and all of my classes. Try it out and let me know what you think!
"My hope is to have overcome the prejudice that Hatha Yoga is only physical and that it has nothing to do with the spiritual life. People have equated the practice of asana with physical practice. My life's work has been to show how, even from humble beginnings, this is a path that can lead the dedicated practitioner to the integration of body, mind, and soul.
I will never stop learning, and I have tried to share some of these lessons with you. I do pray that my ending will be your beginning. The great rewards and the countless blessings of a life spent following the Inward Journey await you." ~ Light on Life
Today BKS Iyengar would have been 100. We are eternally grateful for his life's work and dediation to yoga and for him to share his discoveries with us. Thank you
You can’t always find “comfort in the discomfort”. Some shit is just going to be uncomfortable until it passes. But you can always choose to find acceptance. Acceptance doesn’t mean to settle or anything negative. It’s just recognizing that this is reality, and it won’t last forever. We struggle so much more when we resist things the way they are. Acceptance is one of the hardest and most powerful tools to sharpen. Let me know your thoughts down below. #awakenyoursoul_life
The dictionary definition of awakening is “an act or moment of becoming suddenly aware of something.” In the spiritual sense, awakening has different connotations depending on the specific tradition.
An awakened mind is one that is open to a different reality or awareness. The awakened yogi is aware of the difference between reality and delusion created by the ego and the mind.
