I’m now back from India and so looking forward to getting back to yoga at Shanti, as of tonight!
If you or anyone you know are interested in starting yoga, I have a new 6 Week Beginners block of classes starting next week.
This block will start next Monday 29th October at 18:15-19:15.
It is a very small group in a super relaxed and welcoming environment.
Great for those brand new to this wonderful practice or indeed anyone wishing to dive back into the foundations as a reminder.

We do also have two regularly scheduled Beginners yoga classes on our schedule (Wednesdays and Saturdays) if a block on Mondays doesn’t suit you.
Waking up this morning, I have had time to let the JOY of the past open weekend at Shanti Collective settle in to my body.💜
This weekend was so special to me for many reasons.
Our little yoga studio, as small and humble as it may be, is a sacred space for community to gather and practice their yoga-however they feel at that moment. It’s a space for them to come HOME to themselves. And that is a massive deal! 🗝
I am so fortunate to have made really beautiful and HEARTFELT connections in this space.
The practice of yoga really brings people together in a way that sometimes isn’t easy to put words around-and perhaps we don’t have to.
I just thank you ALL, from the very bottom of my heart.💙

The practice of yoga and meditation teaches us to identify with AWARENESS as opposed to the roles we play in life, or the environments we are in.
We learn to take the viewpoint of the observer, knowing that awareness is present in all our experiences but that WE are not those experiences.
Awareness is much more intelligent than our mind (I love this, from Sally Kempton).
Our bodies hold an infinite intelligence which yoga asana practice also allows us to tap into.
