Starting this Wednesday @paloma_yoga will be teaching a 5 pm heated power vinyasa every week 🔥
Power vinyasa is a rigorous and energetic flow that connects breath to movement by incorporating strength, flexibility, balance, and cardio. There are many benefits including regulated blood pressure, improved circulation, and helps balance and create a more efficient metabolism 🙌🏼 #beaconhillyoga#bhyinstructors

Meet Madeline aka Maddie (@madelinemariiah)! She’ll be taking on the Tuesday 5 pm vinyasa (starting today) and Friday vinyasa at 4:30 pm.
Yoga has been a daily practice for Maddie, whether on or off the mat, for the past five years. She believes that from within we can bring forth our truest selves, and yoga is the key to this work. Her classes blend creativity with both movement and stillness, with the goal of creating balance between sections of dynamic, energetic flow and moments of revitalizing, restoring stillness. Her power flow sequences focus on building core strength, increasing flexibility, and harmonizing the mind, body, and spirit. #BHY#bhyinstructors#beaconhillyoga

A little about her: Emily was first introduced to yoga by her mom as a release from the stress that accompanied her studies during law school. As a former lacrosse-player she was initially drawn to the physical challenges of asana, but over time yoga unexpectedly changed the lens through which she saw herself, the world and all those in it. Emily enjoys teaching many styles of yoga but the fast pace and many demands of modern living have evolved her teaching style to become more gentle and restorative. Each class is designed to welcome all levels of experience. You can expect essential oils, mantras and the use of bolsters, blocks and straps! #BHY#bhyinstructors#beaconhillyoga

🚨 NEW SUB ALERT 🚨 H (@halexharrison) is another new teacher joining the #BHY team who will be subbing @courtney.dutra 10:30 am gentle slow flow class on Tuesday 6/12 (tomorrow). Make sure to check the schedule for other chances to get on your mat with H ☺️ H has practiced yoga since 2014. His studies began with Vinyasa and Forrest yoga in Brookline, MA. In 2016, H started the Ashtanga Primary Series under the direction of Alicia Orr and Alessandra Miele, as well as Ananda Yoga with Lindsey Blake. H received his RYT-200 certification from Boston Yoga School in 2017. H now teaches private and corporate classes in Boston and on occasion at studios around the city. H teaches how yoga can be a powerful tool for self-discovery and self-realization. He encourages his students to use yoga to find strength and confidence both on and off the matt, through vinyasa flows that emphasize the linking of movement to breath #beaconhillyoga#thatnewnew

MALASANA - YOGI'S SQUAT : this is the natural sitting/resting position for the human body (a brain gain I picked up in my at-home yoga practice) How cool is that? 😀
This pose is great for your lower back and hips! Especially for those of us who have a sedentary lifestyle or a desk job. I've developed bad posture over the years so this pose is super helpful for me 😍
