Ashtanga Namaskara (salute with eight parts or points): With your palms already placed flat on the floor, gently using your shoulders, bring the chest and chin to the floor, while keeping the buttocks, hips and abdomen raised on your toes. If this is not possible, first lower the knees, then the chest, and finally the chin. The buttocks, hips and abdomen should be raised.

Me encuentro muchas veces en el Gym con un concepto equivocado de lo que  es una clase de  #Hathayoga y de lo que se trabaja en ella🧘‍♀️. (Básicamente no lo conocen) y lo meten en el saco de voy ha hacer unos estiramientos y a tumbarme a meditar... (Ejercicio de cascarilla, o ejercicios  para poblaciones especiales) Hatha yoga 🧘‍♀️ es una práctica fuerte en la que se crea calor y se suda y se trabaja muy duro (algunas veces se pasa un poquito mal 🤭) pero la sensación que queda después de una buena práctica lo compensa todo.
Como profesora de #hathayoga he visto como en mis clases siempre hay algún nuevo alumno que se va corriendo porque pensaba que venía ha relajarse (como el que va a un spa) y como otros alumnos que nunca habían prácticado se sorprenden de la práctica.(se enamoran ❤️de la práctica como yo lo hice un día).
Un ejemplo es #sarvangasana o  #posturadelavela  y como podéis observar en la imagen la cantidad de musculatura se trabaja en una sola #asana (ejercicio). El Hatha yoga consiste en mantener #asanas durante un tiempo con una respiración consciente... (eso explicado de manera simple porque es mucho más). Os reto a que mantengáis  #sarvangasana durante 10 minutos con una respiración consciente y la comentéis con el #voyamantenersarvanhasansa10min vuestra experiencia. Que tengáis muy buena práctica. Would rather be cosy by the fire practising a yoga flow then commuting on an overcrowded, severely delayed train right now 😣 .
Life will throw stresses at you and this can affect your mind and body. What is important is how you react to them. Meditation and yoga have taught me to be patient and how to let things go. We will inevitably face difficulties, sometimes every day, but the important thing to remember is that whatever stress or irritation you face is a moment in time and it will pass. .
Confront your difficulties and stresses and learn how to calmly deal with them. Accept that it is happening and you will move on. At least this helps me when I’m on an overcrowded train!

DAY 3 of #balanceandbreathe and we are building on our post from day 1 (go check it out on my page if you haven’t seen it already)! If you were finding that challenge enough then make sure you go through that asana again before coming to Big Toe pose. It’s all about layering and finding the place that is right for you. 
Like with Day 1 with tree pose (see my page) we want to ground down through the standing foot, and draw the knee in towards the chest. 
This may be enough for you. If you are keeping balance here and you want to take it to the next step bring the hand on the same side as the lifted foot to the inside of your leg and take hold of the big toe in a ‘yogi toe lock’ - I recommend googling this! (Swipe for an example). I stayed at this point for a very long time, so don’t feel like you need to fully extend the leg forward. You also have the option of using a strap (I still do when I’m not super warmed up 🤷🏻‍♀️ - love me a prop). If you do want to start straightening out the leg do so with caution. Keep the foot flexed, draw up through the knee and front thigh. Keep drawing the sides of the body in towards centre. Keep the ribs knitted in and try your best to keep an open heart space (not glaring but not hunched over). If you do start hunching over just draw that foot back in a little and open up again. 
You can play with this one by taking it in a supine (laying down on your back) position (again swipe for an example) or by beginning to move your leg out to the side, standing in blocks etc... I am just about there with straightening the leg out without an assist so this is my current expression of this asana 💕

Top 5 ways I actively create union and openness in my life daily:

1. I remember to breathe. Periodically I will take a complete lung expanding inhale and hold that for a moment then let it all out. When I first began this I thought it would be odd, people would notice, but it is just breathing and no one bats an eye while I rejuvenate my body.

2. Body language, when standing I plant both feet firmly to ground myself and if sitting I rest with an erect spine and my palms face up on my lap, open body posture to invite what I am seeking from the Universe.

3. I listen WAY more. We’ve all heard that we have two ears, two eyes, and one mouth for a reason. I choose to listen without forming a response or passing judgement. Then I take that feeling breath to consider the appropriate response, and respond energetically.

4. Ask. About the little things and truly care what another person responds with.

5. Remember. I don’t know about you but I can have an entire conversation and forget everything the very next moment, so I do my very best to retain what another person speaks to me about.

It doesn’t sound like much, and it doesn’t sound like asana— all of those together make me a more conscious, intentional, mindful person.

Yoga has changed for me in the last 4 years. It has become my way of living. My life is centered on moving the energy inside me, appreciate it and enhance the flow and quality of it. My food, my movements, my stillness, and my thoughts have (most of the time😉) that attitude, love and compassion for myself. As my teacher @simonsynergy  says, it doesn't finish there, the yogic practice is also about helping other enjoy there life. 
This is why I wanted to share my today practice. I had a bulged disk, or a very small rupture of the L5 S1 disk on the posterior right side. Today, 11 days after my injury this is how my back is feeling. 
I wanted to share with all of you the main exercises that helped me recover my lower back from not being able to sit for more than a minute to (almost) back to normal.

I have performed a version of this movements everyday since the accident. And it has been fantastic to see the improvements. 
In the first movement you can see that I'm mostly doing backbends and only a slight for bend this help me a lot as full bending was the most painful type of bending I could do.

2nd and 3rd movement are mainly to bend a way from the damage I created to myself in the disc.I almost did not do any kind of side bending towards the right, my idea was, again, to create that suction type of movement towards the left.

The forward movement was maybe the one that helped me the most, hanging. The decompression of my spine was what helped in the worst moments. A scenario I did some assisted decompressions but they were nowhere near as good as hanging from rings.

These doesn't intend to give you a solution for your lower back pain I just wanted to share what helped me and if you ever feel pain on your lower back you should seek for professional assessment.

За 6 минут показана жизнь среднестатистического человека. 😐⏳Подобных картин много, эта далеко не единственная, которая поднимает болезненный вопрос. Процитирую одного автора: «Пятница. Проснулся. Умылся. Позавтракал. Вышел из дома. Сел в машину. Доехал до работы. Весь день просидел в офисе. Пришло время ехать обратно. Заехал в магазин. Вернулся домой. Просидел в интернете. Домашние дела. Сон.

Суббота, воскресенье, все отдыхают по-разному, но в основном это домашние дела, интернет, тв и сон.

Пн, Вт, Ср, Чт ничем не отличается от пятницы. 
Итак весь год, некоторым везёт и они организуют себе хороший отпуск летом, на 2-3 недели, чтобы затем до следующего большого отдыха вспоминать об этих чудных деньках. Вывод напрашивается сам собой — живём для себя лишь 3 недели в год!

Но если не работать, то и отдохнуть не получится. Деньги сами не придут, и дети сами себя не накормят. …Много вопросов и абсолютно нет ответов. Люди, осознав это в конце жизни, начинают грустить и говорить, что если бы им предоставили новую жизнь, то они прожили бы ее более свободно. Но это самообман, всё пошло бы по тому же кругу, что и пятница в начале статьи, а иначе не выжить в современном мире. Кругом ограничения, налоги, ЖКХ, дорогие продукты и вещи, все для того, чтобы мы работали с утра до ночи, спали и снова работали. Как в таких условиях проявиться человеку? Все его лучшие качества становятся инструментом для заработка, меняя их предназначение совсем в другое русло.

Вот вам и жизнь в коробке — дом — машина — работа…» Дальше автор упорно пытается показать, что коробка, окружающая человека, это не только вещи, это все его убеждения, за которыми человек прячется, как в матрёшку, обрастая всё новыми и новыми ограничениями, условностями, нормами и правилами. И призывает хоть от чего-то лишнего отказаться, чтобы матрёшка из коробок превращалась в стройную модель, а не борца сумо.

Умылся. Позавтракал. Вышел из дома. Сел в машину. Доехал до работы. Весь день просидел в офисе. Пришло время ехать обратно. Заехал в магазин. Вернулся домой. Просидел в интернете. Домашние дела. Сон. Суббота, воскресенье, все отдыхают по-разному, но в основном это домашние дела, интернет, тв и сон. Пн, Вт, Ср, Чт ничем не отличается от пятницы. Итак весь год, некоторым везёт и они организуют себе хороший отпуск летом, на 2-3 недели, чтобы затем до следующего большого отдыха вспоминать об этих чудных деньках. Вывод напрашивается сам собой — живём для себя лишь 3 недели в год! Но если не работать, то и отдохнуть не получится. Деньги сами не придут, и дети сами себя не накормят. …Много вопросов и абсолютно нет ответов. Люди, осознав это в конце жизни, начинают грустить и говорить, что если бы им предоставили новую жизнь, то они прожили бы ее более свободно. Но это самообман, всё пошло бы по тому же кругу, что и пятница в начале статьи, а иначе не выжить в современном мире. Кругом ограничения, налоги, ЖКХ, дорогие продукты и вещи, все для того, чтобы мы работали с утра до ночи, спали и снова работали. Как в таких условиях проявиться человеку? Все его лучшие качества становятся инструментом для заработка, меняя их предназначение совсем в другое русло. Вот вам и жизнь в коробке — дом — машина — работа…» Дальше автор упорно пытается показать, что коробка, окружающая человека, это не только вещи, это все его убеждения, за которыми человек прячется, как в матрёшку, обрастая всё новыми и новыми ограничениями, условностями, нормами и правилами. И призывает хоть от чего-то лишнего отказаться, чтобы матрёшка из коробок превращалась в стройную модель, а не борца сумо. Возможно ли человеку полностью побороть ограничения своего ума?
