Listen to your body is a term thrown around.. and it’s something really important to cipher the true message.
Practising is about exploring and progressing in whatever way benefits You.
Utilise your salutations and the parts of your practise that feel good, safe and nurturing to delve deeper into what you need.
It doesn’t have to be pretty or a # challenge. It’s not important. What is important is the practise being yours. Tailored to the needs of your body and mind.
Wiggle, shake, move your face, smile, yell, take breaks, wear non yoga wear 🤭
It’s all your yoga 🙏🏽 Happy Saturday All 💛
When do asana, we somehow as yoga students or practitioners often ignore or forget about the technical foundation in any part of our bodies - how to point and flex our feet, drawing in our ribs and stomach, hands in line with the shoulders, etc
We want to achieve the challenging pose without patiently understand and observe the technical foundation process well. The most important essense in asana is to enjoy and understand the basic, observe then we will know our bodies more and more and the challenging pose will come by the time. Don't force it too hard, you will get it naturally!!
Have a very positive day and enjoy the process😊🙏💚
This babe can totally balance on her own, she was just using me as her leg rest (she said it herself 🤣) after all the amazing hollow back that she did.
I decided to give this camel variation a try after learning how to do opposite hand & foot overhand grip without having to flip grip in king pigeon.
I clearly remembered that last year, I couldn’t get my head through my arms on both sides with this method of entry. Slowly but surely, my body is opening up more 🙏🏻❤️
