I’m getting ready for a 14 hour flight to Manila today!!!! Decided to film a little bit of my weird hip stretching regimen. Sitting still in an airplane with that much pressure on hips and back for me means lots of yoga preparation! After this one, yoga videos will be replaced with photos of oceans and waterfalls for the next few weeks. Byeeee ✈️🌏🌊🌴😎

I am back to the city and I miss the mountains already. Although I have been going to the Dolomites since I was literally a baby, I still get amazed by both the grace and power of its landscapes every time I come. There are days when you can stroll down a mountain trail with the sound of streams accompanying your every step, and then there are days when the clouds hide the mountains and the sky is but the premise of a storm to come. And both are ravishingly beautiful as they narrate, in their own way, the greatness of Nature⛰🍃
Do you yogis love the mountains? I’d love to know why your soul feels attracted to them✨
Thank you for sharing your thoughts with me and wish you all a wonderful start of you week 💕
Grateful for the quad strengthening benefits of Virabhadrasana II and Utkatasana for strong ski legs!
A few things I seem to have been practicing for a long time finally coming together 😍🙏⛷ #soulfoodyoga

“You are the finest, loveliest, tenderist and most beautiful person I have ever known- and even that is an understatement” F Scott Fitzgerald. 💕🤓😍🎉💃🏼🙋🏼♀️
So yesterday I wrote about not listening to that voice of judgement or critic inside your head. Setting my own intention to stop it in its tracks by speaking to myself with kindness, as if I was bigging up a best mate who was feeling low. 🤗 (Such a wonderful idea that I’ve never really thought about from @yoga_girl podcast “The Inner Critic”)
I thought I’d share a few of my own inner voices of judgement. After a recent break up, I was definitely not being kind to myself and the below is pulled directly from my journal.
1) You are 33, you should have your shit together.
2) You are literally a spinster cat lady.
3) You are ugly, especially you’re nose.
4) You are not good enough.
5) You are a failure.
6) You are never going to be happy because you ruin everything.
And these are just a few. And they are quite awful right? I wouldn’t say that to anyone around me so why do I say these ridiculous things to myself because actually I’m bloody fantastic. And also, that was a lot of negativity I was carrying around with me everyday whilst trying to hold a positive space for others. I felt constantly tired, heavy and sluggish. I wasn’t nourishing myself properly and I wasn’t sleeping great either as I was worrying and listening to that voice. 🤦🏼♀️
So at the top of this post is a quote I want you to read to yourself over and over again, if you’ve been in a funk like me. Know that this funk will subside and please believe in yourself. Self love, self love, self love 💕 “it’s the greatest middle finger of all time” 💕💫🎉⛵️🏖🤷🏼♀️
Tao Porchon-Lynch: 100 years old Yoga teacher Tao Porchon was born on August 13, 1918, on a ship in the middle of the English Channel, two months premature. Her father was from France, while her mother was a native Indian, from Manipur, India.
At age eight, Tao witnessed a group of youthful yoga practitioners exercising on a beach. This encounter got Porchon interested in yoga, who stated in an interview with Guinness World Records, "I wanted to do the amazing things that they were doing with their bodies." Later on, Porchon-Lynch, now a married woman, found herself becoming more serious in yoga.
Having studied with yoga greats Sri Aurobindo and Indra Devi, she abandoned her acting job in 1967, deciding to become a full-time yogi. In 1976, she became one of the founders of the Yoga Teachers Alliance, now known as the Yoga Teachers Association. She based her operations in New York and set up the Westchester Institute of Yoga in 1982, which now has students from all over the world.
Tao is also an activist, oenophilist and competitive ballroom dancer. In 2015, she appeared on Season 10 of America's Got Talent. Porchon-Lynch has embraced her age and carried her yoga with her. She received the Guinness World Records title of world's oldest yoga teacher from Berniece Bates in May 2012.
Porchon-Lynch was 93 when she broke the world record. Over her 75-year professional life, she was a couture model, actress, film producer, international film distributor, television executive, publisher and a co-founder of the American Wine Society.
Her mantra is: There Is Nothing You Cannot Do. @taoporchonlynch

This blew my baby yoga mind. I had no idea there was more than one salutation. All I've ever heard of was Sun's. Come to find out that a moon, earth and star exist! I'm very exited. I don't have much practice. Total time of doing yoga for my whole life entire life is a month exactly ❤️. I'm accepting where I am and working on being happy with my practice, and how far I'm come. I got both my heels down during low side Lunge band didn't fall immediately. I've improved so much over thirty days and need to stop being so hard and negative to myself. So ya, that's where I'm at tonight. Probally should invest in a better camera at somepoint🤔
