Beginning Friday the 30th of this month we will be adding a 9:15am class to the Schedule!! Calling all mommies that have dropped of your littles, those that need more time to finish your farm chores or perhaps you are blessed to sleep in a bit on Fridays!
This class is taught by @kirsten_yoga_culture and/or @ginabourgeois and we are mixing it up! Teachers choice! You may come into vinyasa, maybe some depth or perhaps a classic Hatha routine. What we can promise is that we will work & have fun with some much deserved bliss to wrap it up🙏

Sunday Funday! What did you do this beautiful day? Anyone do family time? Friends time? What is your favorite part about Sunday Funday? The picture I posted today was technically from last night at the Diwali festival (Light Festival) in San Antonio. I love this festival so much because it represents the Indian culture in San Antonio. It’s so colorful, bright, and welcoming. I loved the food and the friends that I made. Going to India is on my bucket list so this makes me feel little like I am already there. I am thankful for my new friend @kokila_kulkarni and her husband for showing me some new foods and teaching me more about India 🇮🇳! . . So, today was not my normal Sunday, it was cleaning out my Grandmothers garage. Which needed to get done so badly. Years of memories all kept in a two car garage. Wow! What a fun but exhausting experience. I got to see so many old books, pictures, the family tree, some things I would’ve rather not cleaned. But in the end I am so happy we did this big shift. It was hard to see my grandmother cry at a few things she was saying goodbye to. Although diet culture is disappearing due to evolving consciousness 🧐... in its place is “wellness” culture. Hello #weightwatchers rebrand.
This is a culture that serves an equally lethal potent political sedative but this time it is in the form of all things “good” for us; cleanses, green juices, clean food, mushroom lattes, kale shots, whole foods, raw no sugar vegan food, non-gmo’s, trendy exercise classes, colonics, etc.
There is nothing wrong with wellness culture inherently except for that its promises to leave us feeling “good” instead of allowing us the opportunity to determine how each product or experience feels independently to us
Be a rebel; ask yourself how everything feels? Feel into YOUR body. Feel into even the stuff that we “know” is SO “good” for us.
Say not, “I have found the truth,” but rather, “I have found a truth.”
