I tried to wind up this skein of @malabrigoyarn for a custom double brim hat that order I just got in, but I think they hired a drunk panda to wind this skein so I’ll be taking things slow and winding by hand instead. Surprisingly, this is a nice way to unwind from an otherwise stressful and frustrating week, and once again I’m so incredibly thankful that I have knitting to help me find some inner peace when I lose it. This hat is headed to a former Mainer who now lives in Idaho, and I’ll be trying my best to knit this outside to infuse as much of the smell of Maine into it before I send it off. Happy thoughts will be knit into this hat because I like to believe that each stitch that is knit with positivity will resonate positive energy for the remainder of its knit life.
