Another flower season has come and gone and it was a beauty. I fell off the face of Instagram in August and spent more time in presence, and more time practicing self care in order to finish the season strong. Growing joy (flower farming) is a labor of love and after a short week of rest, I am feeling human again. Yay! In the past it has taken much more time to recover and while I’ve missed you all here, it appears self care did some good over the past couple months. This #bedsidebloom is one of the last roses from my home garden and while I am grateful for rest and to be entering a slower season, I am so excited for what 2019 already has in store! And you know what, I have a feeling it’s going to just keep getting better. Stay tuned. Oh, and before then you can bet I have a load of beauty that I’ve been saving to share with you from the past couple months. 🌿🌻🌸 #oregongrown#yamco#flowerfarm#fifthgeneration#jbaconfarms#dosomethingyoulove#farmerflorist#nofilter

🔻Bret- 52, Training full tension CARs today.
🔻Bret has been making major progress. In his health- blood pressure is down and healthy, he’s down over 30lbs, now jogging and able to do more advanced training. Also just won another golf tournament over the weekend! 😎
🔻Creating healthy joints and healthy movements has allowed him to have better use of his training and hobbies and health overall. Super proud of this guy!!
🔻Increase the tension= increase the result.
Lacrosse ball in right hand and slam ball gripped at chest is purposed to squeeze even more tension out as he takes his Gleno-Humeral joint through his full- pain free Range of Motion. The side lying position is also nice for biofeedback, avoiding compensatory movement. AKA Strict Controlled Articular Rotations on Roids.
Finally got back from our amazing trip and have access to all the softwares blocked by mama China 😂 this is one of the stunning views from Tibet trip - Yamdrok Yamco lake, 4500m/14800ft high above sea level! #yamdroklake#yamco#lake#tibet#highaltitude#china
Just dropped off the rest of the flowers with @abacongirl for @ipnc_pinot tonight. Very proud of her efforts to pull off the event in the heat and maintaining her normal job.
We will not be attending this year but hope to in the future.
Enjoy the Pinot, Flowers and Salmon tonight, they are setting up quite the party in the oak grove!
Thanks Brian for spreading the WCMF love far and wide - we hope you had a great time seeing @theavettbrothers last night at @edgefieldconcerts! Who else has been rocking out while sporting some WCMF swag??

Training thoracic spine extension🔻
🔻There are many options to work on extension for thoracic spine but this one has proven to be very effective for myself and some clients.
🔻By means of the ball ⚫️ I can contract/irradiate more.
•It also allows feedback as to what point of my sternum Will remain in contact. (What hinge point is the focus)
The ball being soft, unlike the floor- Allows me to “get heavier in my chest” and all that is above the point of contact of my sternum (anterior side of T-spine) “peels ⬆️ up and away” from the ball.
🔻The stall bars allow me to use my hands to drive force ⬇️, pulling me into further extension. (RAILs)
🔻Choose a specific hinge point to work further up or down the spine and keep that point in contact with the ball.
🔹CARs followed. Full cat camel followed as well as from collapsed quadruped in effort to block lumbar spine.
🔻ACTIVE INPUTS YIELD ACTIVE RESULTS🔻

Had a great Father’s Day yesterday and took this picture in the evening after BBQing. We learned that my mom’s biological father lives in McMinnville, and my brothers and I are fifth generation Yamhill County men, some really cool history! This place is pretty neat.
