Some "rushed" pictures for the few seconds I was alone today. No preworkout today + very low on carbs, but still went fine. Bodyweight of 92,8 kilos. Maybe I one day will get a form update where somebody ELSE can take the photos, so I can flex both sides and get a much fuller and better look than I get in photos like this. I hate that part of taking pictures. You tense up just a liiiittle too hard (where veins actually starts to pop and muscles fill up like they should), and it comes out blurry and horrible. Or you forget to keep your abs in check, or some weird thing your did with your left delt, or you angle your phone in the completely wrong direction, or whatever. Lol. Oh well. At least a much better "post workout shape" today than yesterday. Goal was pretty much to just get a good, strength based workout in first (close grip bench press was my main movement of the day), and then just do some lighter high rep work, mostly just chest isolation. Just another day. But it's all going in the right direction.
Very easy breakfast, smoothie topped with loads of yumminess!❤ I'm in bed right now, didnt make it to the gym yesterday and wont to it today either. My body didnt handle the temperature changes (from 30C down to 5C) when I went home from vecation, so I'm feeling sick right now!!😫

Ah, man. Today was such a good day in the beginning. Warmups felt like nothing, but then I got to 180... And as I threw on another 20 kg plate, I smashed my thumb between two 20 kilo plates so hard that it went all numb and started bleeding. This really put me off. A nice chunk of skin came off, and it kept bleeding throughout my sets - every time I tried clenching my fist around the bar, it got worse and started bleeding again. Could barely bend the thumb. So at 230, I tried pulling veeery gently off the ground, without locking my hands too hard around the bar. It went okay, but I already knew i had messed up as I was aiming for much, much higher numbers lol. Went to 250 and tried to pull without clenching my fist so hard, and just "rely" on the straps, but heeell no. Completely out of focus. Felt like I pulled while sleeping, mentally. Belt was too tight, I had placed it too far down, and I didn't pay attention to any of the details. Just pulled and used force when I realised it would be a yucky pull. Rounded my back and already knew it would be impossible to break any PRs today. Did one more with 250 (looked identical to the first one), then called it a day. Finished with a few light movements, but nothing heavy or something that would give me much of a pump today. Thumb feels fine now, so it's not like I'm dying here lmao. Not anything to whine about, but it's just so typical... You know you had such a good opportunity of htting a PR. Felt really good and strong overall today. But that's how the iron game is. Small things can mess with the big things. Just gotta get home, do the right things, prepare better for next time and overcome - as always. 👌

3 singles of 150 kg today. Close grip bench press, paused, using the Blue sling (except for that first rep, that I just did raw to feel the weight before I put on the Sling). This blows my old PRs out the water. Close grip are really getting up there with my regular bench.
I call this a speed/power focused workout. I'm focusing A LOT on just being as aggressive and explosive in the bottom of the bench here. I think about just crushing the bar with maximum force when I engage my body into it from the dead stop. It's just to get a good drive into the bar, which helps reinforce technique tremendously when you do it over and over again.
Bodyweight of 92 kg today. I was 90,9 kg yesterday. Never been stronger than right now. I've weighed more, but I was fluffy and noticeably weaker. It always evens out - that's the take home message I always have to remind myself about. Just be patient. Your physique will eventually harden and mature - that's something I've really experienced on my own now, and think this is a bit "forgotten" when people talk about "getting bigger and atronger". Many obsess about increasing bodyweight "to get big" - that's the wrong path. Focus on performance in the gym, and the rest will follow. Let your physique harden. Mature. Give it time.
Hellooo you all!!❤ Yesterday I landed in Norway again and now I'm back home. So today it was time for the gym again!! It feels like ages since I was in here.. And I feel like my body is so bloated and really fear that I've gained some pounds.. I mean, for the two weeks I've been in Bulgaria I've eaten what I felt like, and that means like two icecreams each day and pizza/burger/pasta or whatever to dinner.. It have felt really good tho, but it's even better to come back to the good old normal. Hopefully I've just gained more water in my body, and it will go away in not so long!!🙈 .
Anyway.. Today I trained back, biceps and triceps and the session went PRETTY GOOD. I did my sess in trisets, and I already feel it all over..😱🤣

270 kilos for a quick single today. Weights are flying. Ten red 25 kg plates, and the barbell... Nice and clean lol. Just wanted to do this weight pretty damn clean before jumping to 280 kilos again. Might do a few reps with it next time as well. Quads were sore as heck today, as it's only two days since my last leg day. In a situation where recovery takes a bit longer time atm, but it's all good. I like when it's extra tough - forces me to sharpen my mind.
And the "metal erauk" is back, lol. I try to switch things up a bit tho... Sometimes, I'm in the metal mood...
