Happy Sunday evening folks! I hope everyone has gotten their meal prep done so they can slay this week! I’m extremely happy to be joke from my work trip. I had a jam packed weekend and will sleep well tonight. Murphy is just as pooped! Check out my pictures of my lack of artistic ability when it comes to cookie decorating 😬. Dinner was a corn dog casserole for 4 points. Recipe can be found at thepounddropper.com. She cut this into 6 pieces, I cut it into 9, which is why it came out to 4 points. If you cut it into 6, comes out to 7 points. Served it with a side of vegggies that I sautéed in a tbsp of lite butter for 1 point. The guys liked it. I think I’ll make this when our grandsons come over. They love corn dogs. Very easy to make. Being overweight makes so many things in my life harder than they should be. Simple things like walking, going up and down stairs, bending down to pick things up off the floor. But also things like playing games with my kids, staying awake during the day and sleeping at night, trying on clothes and finding anything remotely flattering for my body. Yes, losing weight is hard. Really hard some days. It takes a lot of work and hourly intentional choices. It takes patience and consistency.
If I’m honest, really, really honest...being overweight is harder.
So I’m gonna choose my hard and I’m gonna keep choosing it everyday because I am worth it. My family deserves the best version of me and I deserve to live life to the fullest.
Here’s to all the people out there who are choosing their hard by staying consistent in whatever plan they have for their weight loss journey. Just remember, no matter how hard it gets, it’ll never be as hard or cost as much as choosing to stay overweight. You are worth it. So my favorite protein bars are still the ones at Costco! I think they’re softer than Quest (and cheaper). I like to mix in others but this are definitely the ones I keep stocked up on. I like to melt them for 7-8 seconds to get the chocolate a little melty (but not longer or else they’ll stick to the microwave!) 👌🏻 5 #smartpoints and the best after-church snack!
OMG what a day! Setting up the house for Hanukkah next weekend! 16,675 #steps 😳 I am exhausted and my food was not on plan and WAY to high in points today ☹️ Breakfast was good then by 2 pm we were starving the house was literally ripped apart we had to run to Home Depot and so we hit Taco Bell on the way - I was going to get a taco salad but then I saw this veggie power bowl and got it! Ugh so disappointed when I tracked it and realized it was filled with cheese and sour cream ( I don’t like eating dairy food) I was so hungry that I mixed it all together covered it in hot sauce and ate it. Then we didnt finish till almost 7 pm so we got Chinese.. I tried so hard to be good I got steamed tofu and vegetables which was 🆓 I had 1 spring roll and some rice and some soup - still way over in my points! 😳☹️ So disappointed - but I did finish all our chores and the house looks great! Tomorrow is a new day and I’ll be on track the whole day!! I’m going to try and be under points and eat lots of free stuff 🙌🏻💕💗💞✨
Recap of my day: Kept my main meals #ontrack ... but ate a bunch o’ snacks and things today #balance . Breakfast: Fruit + 2sp light English muffin, turkey slices, ff cheddar, 1 tsp garlic hummus, & a fried egg 🍳 Lunch: 2pt wrap w/ 1 tbsp marinara, ff cheddar, 1 shredded rf string cheese (1sp), 15 turkey pepperonis (1sp), plus onions and mushrooms 🍕Dinner: air fried chili lime chicken, delicata & Brussels sprouts 🍗 Ended up adding @ghughessugarfree maple brown bbq sauce to dinner... so yummy!!!!! Tonight’s dinner was a low point meal at Ruby Tuesday’s, I stopped by target and found the last box of these @yasso bars! I love peppermint, so I’m going to snuggle up under my heated blanket, watch some holiday shows on Food Network, and enjoy my 5sp treat
Today’s eats! Plus a tea, some grapes and a sub from subway (footlong turkey breast for 17sp). Finished the day at 30sp. I know for sure I’m up this week because I weighed myself this morning and I was 2lbs up, no way that’s going to drop in the next 2 days! Oh well, I went to the gym 6 days this week which hasn’t happened in forever so that’s an accomplishment. Try harder next week! 💪🏼

Ross and I wanted to see an exhibit about Megalodons at the Natural History museum in Norman and grabbed brunch with @thisokieslife_ww and her husband at Neighborhood Jam! It was super good. The exhibit was great too!
Dinner was a modified version of @thisokieslife_ww cajun chicken alfredo bake. I used the rest of the roasted chicken I made last week, carbadada noodles, light alfredo and some light mozzarella. 9 #smartpoints .
Trying something new this week. Holding myself accountable as both Billy and I continue with weight watchers. We have been eating out a lot lately.
