Things are different around here lately. Getting a little deeper around here lately. Emotions rising and releasing lately. Feelings a little lighter lovelier lately. Things are a changing baby. ♥️MLynn
I’ve been writing, releasing and healing so much shit. I forgot how much writing was a part of me. I was trying to get down to why I really stopped ... and digging deep it boils down to trust issues and a dash of diffidence which is (hahahah) get this - a lack of trust in self, causing shy timid behavior.
I stopped writing so long ago because I was hiding my truth and running from it too. I never wanted to hurt anyone’s feelings, people pleasing left and right. I was shamed in the past for things I’d written down, ‘how could you write that?!’ I would hear. I also felt like if I didn’t write it, then I didn’t have to claim it as part of my story- WRONG!
When I started hiding parts of myself I started playing smaller and smaller parts in the direction of my life’s course. I wasn’t feeling and processing emotions in my natural way. Instead I was holding onto everything in my mind, and that’s how the ruminating begins. That’s how I started to lose my intuition and clarity, my sense of self trust, the direction of my soul’s highest path.
Universe be like “wtf is it you really want over there?” #mixedsignals#getittogetherwoman#writethatshitdown ————————————————
What are your intentions?
Each week I write down what I intend to accomplish in the next 7-14 days.
Whether I'm writing it in my planner, on my white board, on my mirror, post it's, or on my hand, I write my "to dos" & goals everywhere AND OFTEN!
Your intentions could be anything from getting to the gym 3 days this week, to making sure you give your mom a call. Whatever you have on your mind, write it down. ✏️
My intentions this week include:
•Hit week 2 of my challenge hard, & get all of my cardio in
•Get unpacked from traveling all summer
•Go through my clothes & separate them into keep/sell/donate
•Wash/change oil in both my cars & then get Stella (my '99 civic) listed for sale
•Hit my MF macros
•Send my resume out to at least 5 businesses
•Get back to my blog
•Get my Halloween decorations up
I've gotten about half of these things done already, and the rest may or get done this week, but that's ok. I'm giving it all my best effort and that's all I can ask of myself. 😊
So, what's on your mind? What are YOUR intentions for the week?
Take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow. Pain nourishes your courage. You have to fail in order to practice being brave. The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing. Many times what we perceive as an error or failure is actually a gift. And eventually we find that lessons learned from that discouraging experience prove to be of great worth. You will only fail to learn if you do not learn from failing.
I’m trying to get back into the swing of writing my own stories and ordered these pencils from @chroniclebooks, hoping they’d inspire me! They do make me feel more excited to #writethatshitdown 🤣📝📚 .
I like the physical act of writing by hand at times—I feel better connected to my thoughts somehow. I hope you’re having a productive, enjoyable Sunday, no matter if you’re writing, reading, or just taking a day for yourself! #bookstagram#writing#wannabeauthor#amwriting
Happy Day 10 of the Alphabet of Happiness! It's J Day - and today is all about JOURNALING. My advice for you today: WRITE THAT SHIT DOWN!
In my meditation classes, I'm always telling my students - It's not simply about clearing your thoughts, but finding order and clarity in what's going on in your mind. A great tool to help you gain clarity is journaling. Taking your thoughts and writing them down allows you to take time to examine them and gain the insight you need.
Here's a few ways that journaling can help to make you happier!
1. Solidify your goals.
When you put your goals in writing, you can begin to see them more clearly. You can look at them over and over and by doing so, they begin to become more real and attainable. They take form more cohesively in your mind which initiates a powerful shift in your confidence and self-belief.
2. Share your dreams
Keeping a journal provides a great outlet to share your hopes, dreams and lofty expectations without fear of judgement or ridicule. You can tell your journal anything - it will always have your back.
3. Find out who you really are.
Journaling provides an outlet for self-reflection. By sharing our inner-most feelings on any subject, we begin to gain insight into our perceptions and perspectives. When we examine our feelings, we can learn a lot about who we are, how we got where we are, and who and where we want to be.
4. Clear your emotions
Let it out! How does the saying go? "A worry shared is a worry halved". Sometimes it's hard to open up about our concerns. We don't want to be a burden, or deal with the interference that can come from bringing others into our issues. Journaling allows you to release your emotions in a safe and private way.
5. Focus on Gratitude
This is the big one! By establishing a daily practice of gratitude you increase empathy and reduce aggression and anxiety Your focus instantly becomes more positive and uplifting and creates a greater sense of appreciation for everything and everyone around you. Gratitude literally instantly makes you happier.
So, get out your pen and paper and start today. #omsohappy#journal#growth#journaling#gratitude#writethatshitdown#happiness
These two tools were an amazing next step in my journey. I highly recommend grabbing a pen and blank book and sitting with them and see what comes out. A lot of the questions we have we also already have the answers to! And the crystals are all beside me for the energy I need to stay grounded and present #grateful#livingmybestlife#writethatshitdown#getterdone#behappyandsmile
Fellas, take the time and do it right when it comes to buying lingerie for your lady friend. What appeals to us does not necessarily make it the right gift for her.⠀
If you really want to step your game up, offer to take her lingerie shopping and tell her she can get whatever she wants (that can be singular or plural depending on your budget). 💯⠀
If you see what she touches, looks at, asks your opinion on, you know the style to buy in the future. 😎⠀

Hands up who got stuck into writing their intentions with this new moon? 🌝
Remember everything is created twice. First in mind. Then in form. Visualisation is a great start but get those thoughts down on paper. Then take action to make your intentions happen. 📝
There is definitely a different energy surrounding me this week.
On the downside I'm spending way too much time in my head. All the ideas are whizzing around but fighting to make actual progress. This makes it a bit trickier to decide on my intentions.
This year I've been backwards and forwards with my business. Tuning into what feels good and what doesn't. Looking at how i can be of true, meaningful service. Feeling totally light up by my work. Balancing my time for healing with time for work I love. Wanting to do something completely different. Thinking of bringing back work that I stopped years ago. Soooo many questions. Soooo many options. All of them possible. 🌺
But for now I will take a step back and breath. Let go of the chaos in my mind and create space. Not push. Time to get grounded.Trust in the divine downloads I receive when I'm in a place of calm and trust. Follow the bread crumbs of curiosity and my heart.
