I don’t have a list of goals that I need to check off before I can feel good about my life ✨
Instead, I feel fulfilled when I’m true to myself, creating things, and growing on a regular basis. Fulfillment isn’t an end goal for me, rather it’s a state of mind. So no, I don’t have a 5 year plan, and I prefer it that way. Different things work for different people, but I certainly feel best when I spend more time enjoying what I have to offer right now. I still have goals and big dreams, but I’m not basing any of my self-worth on checking boxes off of a list, and I think that’s the biggest distinction 💕
Throwback to when I dressed up as an 'oiran' in Japan — only to realize later that an oiran was a Japanese 'woman of pleasure'... 🙃
WELL, I'LL BE DAMNED.

But srsly tho, #oiran were high-ranked cultured courtesans and Japan reveres their tradition so 👍🏻 ALL GOOD!

P.S. An oiran is NOT the same as a ‘#geisha ’.

Day 277: I love the beautiful, colorful doorways of SRI LANKA! 😍
#adventureviv travel tip: If you have a Buddha tattoo, please hide it while you’re in Sri Lanka! Sri Lanka has a zero tolerance for tourists with Buddha tattoos. In fact, there have been cases in the past when tourists with Buddha tattoos have been arrested and deported. Back in 2012, three French tourists were sentenced to 6 months in jail for taking pictures of them kissing a Buddha statue.
Respect Sri Lanka’s culture!
The waterfalls and cascades at Skradinski Buk are one of the most attractive parts of Krka National Park. In this area alone there are seventeen waterfalls all ranging from different heights and widths!
