If you knew how many attempts it took to get this pic you'd squeal with laughter. Thank you to the amazing @shelley_ware for being part of a very significant project with me. Sharing the Deadly Sisters book project with you and the #WorawaCollege girls touched my spirit and my heart. You're a star McGoo! Love your work, love your shirt ❤️🖤💛 And thank you @epicgoodau and @hawthornfc for bringing us together. #literacy#readingopensdoors#writing#tiddas
Today @shelley_ware and I started a weeklong writing workshop with students at #WorawaCollege in #Healesville
The workshop is part of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation's publishing program and is partnered by the @hawthornfc too. Together the students will create an anthology that will be launched on Indigenous Literacy Day, September 5. 📷 by David Callow @indigenousliteracyfoundation

Great to have our friends from #GandelPhilanthropy join our Worawa #DeadlySistaGirlz Program last week. 👭👭👭👭 Alex joined the girls for lunch and a tour of the school, and then our mentors Teagan and Leila delivered their session on 'resilience' with the focus on what it is to be strong and a role model in the community. A big thank you to Gandel for supporting this program! #worawacollege
@wirra44 at his old stomping ground in Healesville, Victoria today! Wirra's family started Worawa Aboriginal College over 30 years ago and this is where he did his schooling (and learnt how to kick the footy) until he was drafted in 1995 at the age of 15 to the @westcoasteagles. Today, the @wirrafoundation run the #DeadlySistaGirlz program at #WorawaCollege weekly. Thanks to Aunty Lois, and all the staff and students for having us today!! #afl#memorylane#history#decadeofdifference
My friend @_deborahbrandon_ asked me #widn .. Well it was near dark then, Billie was in bath, her dinner on stove so no photo taken at that moment.. But earlier today I went to Worawa in Healesville (aboriginal girls college), they have a gallery there managed by a great woman named Lisa. The gallery has art works from the areas where the girls are from..across Australia. We have bought some art from there over the years, the@money goes of course to the artist but also to the school. This basket is so beautiful and graceful. I'm sorry I did not write the name of weaver down, I took a photo for inspiration and didn't think I'd be putting it on insta. I will add later. Visiting there today helped me get out of my grumpy mood. It has a great view of the mountains and strangely it's always sunny when I go there. Would @vic_pemberton who I briefly met yesterday like to play #widn ?
