30 weeks preggo and good sleep has become a rarity. Woke up at 1am with the worst heartburn, and again just before 5 with sore hips and restless legs. So what to do? Get up and knit. All the blanket pieces are finished! Approximately 84x84 cm. I am now seaming the pieces together and it’s looking great. Final finished pics to follow soon. 🖤
😃🐝💕💕💕I am the proud owner and squisher of some Hooligan wool, the wool from Entwhistle 🐑 and Ernie🐑 to be precise, and it's gorgeous! After I spotted a fundraising appeal on Instagram recently, I made some sheepy project bags and popped them in the post and the lovely Di has put a beautiful book of poetry and a mystery 50g ball of wool with my bags and named them Hooligan Happy Bags! How wonderful is that?! Di popped five of the kits on her charity's website this morning and they were snapped up very quickly. In fact, they went so quickly I didn't get chance to post about them myself!! 😃🐑 However, there is this one kit still available and it could be yours for a donation of just £2 IF, and only IF you win it when names are put into a draw tomorrow! If you would like to know more about Hooligan Yarns and their animal rescue work, then please pop over to their Instagram feed @hooliganyarns. If you would like the chance to win a Hooligan Happy Bag kit, then you'll find the link to donate there too!
If you want to go straight to donate for a chance to win the set please go to www.manorfarmcharitabletrust.org and mark your donation HAPPY. This crafty IG community is so generous, and I am forever amazed at people's generosity! 😘🐝💕💕💕🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑 #hooliganyarn#woollygoodness#busypottering
This afternoon I've been sorting through the stash. So many skeins I cannot wait to make into something warm and beautiful. So many memories of people and places as I hand-sort various yarns. Autumn is nearly here and I think that the remainder of this year will be earmarked for knitting from stash. What yarns do you have waiting in your stash? Anything you are dying to cast on?
Fab package received from @woollygoodnessyarns yesterday. Jenny has designed a pattern for a cute pair of fingerless mittens and packaged it beautifully with some of her lovely yarn AND needles AND stitch markers! 💕 Can't wait to start! 😃 #MandysMitts#WoollyGoodness#knittersofinstagram#knitting
Finished the first chart of my Siri cardigan today. I added short rows in the neck and I'm knitting it in the round with a steek. This is the backside of the cardigan. It looks and feels warm and woolly and I'm sure I won't wear it until well after summer. 😄
