Teaching folks the joys of wood carving by the campfire at #yestival2018 - always great to catch up with friends, chat about adventures, listen to stories and #sayyesmore with @theyestribe - thank you @raphael.fyi for this fab picture
The next job is on the bench and ready to get started. I'm making a market stand for @nutritionrepublic . If you're interested, you'll be able to check it out at the @bowerbird.au market in Adelaide at the end of the month.
I'm pretty excited with how this came out. This will make such a great gift for my clients father! It's nearly complete, just needs some satin poly. If you would like one of your own, send me a private message and I will set you up.

Handmade Wooden American Flag No Plywood here! Grab your unique piece of American pride and put it on display. Starting sizes are 24" x 13", all the way up to 60" x 32.5" These flags are each handmade, so there will be variations in the grain that will make each one unique. Each stripe & the union section have chamfered edges to give it an even classier look. They also mount flush to the wall using a cleat system, making the hardware hidden.

I dropped into @heyday.store yesterday and checked out all the awesome handmade things in there and caught up with my good friend Karah who owns heyday. I worked for Karah a few years ago as head chef at a cafe that she owned here in Adelaide, she had these old table tops laying around so I took them off her hands (as you do when you hoard timber and other building materials) 3 years down the track we caught up and she wanted some shelves made for her store that she'd opened earlier this year. So here is one of them, I still had the tops laying in the shed collecting dust and I was going to make a dog bed out of them. These were my first paid job as henkô designs and by far one of my favorites!
