I depend on my charisma and energy to inspire. Amount of control: selling, reasoning, persuading, consulting and delegating. I inspire team with my vision of what should happen. I supply the main goal, I make the final decision but the team to contribute to the decision making process. I'm focused on organizing, supporting and developing the team. I'm always looking for ideas that move towards the organisation vision. I asks the team's opinions and uses these to make decisions. The team is kept informed and are allowed to discuss and propose changes to policy. I'm very visible and I spend lot of time communicating. Communication is the basis for achievment by focusing the group on the required outcome. I don't necessarily lead from the front, as I tend to delegate responsibility. The leader can't know everything: this is why I employ skillful team memebers. My style is not a sign of weakness, more a sign of strength my team will respect. I represent modern leadership style when organisational flexibility and a sense of individual responsibility is needed. Where team working is essentail and when quality is more important than speed.

Can communicate an inspirational vision of the future. My style it's a mutual benefit: allows members to feel part of the team and me to make better decisions. Members of the team feel in control and motivated to work hard. I increases job satisfaction by involving the team in decisions. I help to develop team members' skills. I focus on the big picture!
As participation takes time things may happen more slowly than with autocratic approch, but often the end result is better.

Escaping to the mountains is one of my favourite things to do. Last weekend we packed a quick lunch, some fresh sourdough, and headed out to find the trail. It was incredibly satisfying sitting at the top of the hike next to a gloriously cold lake and enjoying our packed lunch. After we’d finished exploring we headed back down the rocky, mountain trail and drove to a sandy warm beach for a sunset swim before heading home ✌️🏔 What’s your favourite place to escape to during the summer?
