The best views of the Place de Concorde that I have had the chance to experience. Where is your favorite view of #paris ? 🥂
These palace views are no joke from the Marie Antoinette suite @rwcrillon. You can even see the Tour Eiffel to the right. 🥂🥂🥂 I literally had royal views of the most beautiful city in the world. 🥂
I just could not not share these views 😍😍

The Nine Arch Bridge is a picturesque spot hidden in the hills of Ella.
Caity and I made our way from Hikkaduwa to Ella via bus this time around. It took most of the day to travel but it was worth it once we arrived.
Ella is at a higher altitude which means cooler temperatures, much cooler than the rest of the country.
We opted to hike to the bridge instead of taking a tuktuk. It’s very easy to get to, and I would recommend going in the morning. It’s a steep hike down at the end to the actual bridge, but still people of all ages can make it. We timed it perfectly to where we saw three trains come across this famous bridge!! We decided to get below the bridge and I found a trail that would take us down. As we started, the policed yelled to me. It wasn’t because I was getting in trouble, it was so they could warn us about the leeches. We listened and went to the other side of the bridge. Y’all, it doesn’t matter what side of the bridge you go down... the leeches are everywhere. At first I thought the police were just messing around with us, but at one point the whole ground was crawling with them. I didn’t mind flicking them off my legs and shoes, but Caity couldn’t get out of there fast enough! Just a heads up if you decide to be adventurous like us. Don’t let the leeches scare you away from good photos.
The Nine Arch bride is so worth your time when you make it to Ella!! One quick side story about the dog in the last photo. It’s one of the best best dogs I’ve met on my travels. It belongs to the owners of the homestay we stayed in, and the dog’s name is Tina. The dog is actually a boy, but the owners didn’t know of any male dog names in English... so they just went with Tina! Thought it was pretty funny.
Witnessing a sunset can slow down the perception of time. It can make life feel more satisfying. It is a celebration and a time to thank the day that passed by. It is timeless, inherently powerful and spiritual. Have you been impressed by a sunset off late?
