J'ai passé une nuit carrément merdique.. je me suis réveillé à 3h20, j'ai réussi à me rendormir vers 4h30 pour me lever à 6h30.
Ce matin j'ai fait mon full body après je suis partie faire un tit runrun, et au bout de 500m il a fallu que je me rende à l'évidence mon talon gauche me disait NON NON lol du coup j'ai pas insisté je préfère rester sage car demain c'est mon jour de cardio uniquement, et j'aimerais me faire une sortie runrun sympa ...
Ce matin pour le petit-déj' ce que j'appelle un muesli pudding 👌
Muesli sans sucre ajouté + graines de chia (15gr max)+ 15cl de boissons végétales, la nuit au frais et le lendemain ça devient solide comme un petit pudding 😊
Et le matin j'ajoute un yaourt nature & un fruit.

Put the Phone away - Scrolling through your phone kills the intensity of your session, usually by resulting in longer rest periods being taken. Save the selfies for after the workout when you’re a sweaty mess. 💧 💁🏼♀️
Buddy Up - For increased motivation get a gym buddy, you’re more likely to not skip that workout if you are doing it with a friend.
Time your Rest Periods - If the main goal is Fat Loss then should be aiming to gradually reduce your rest periods over time. This leads to an increase in Growth Hormone release which is both Fat Burning and Muscle Building.
Rest periods typically should be anywhere from 15-60 seconds during this phase.
Compound instead of Isolation Exercises - If you have limited time to train then you need to use exercises that give you the biggest bang for your buck! What do you think burns more calories.. a Bicep Curl 💪🏼 or a Squat 🏋🏻♂️ If Fat Loss is the goal you want to use as many muscle as possible during your workout to burn the most amount of calories and elevate your metabolism.

“Are you training or are you working out?” .
I saw these words written on the white board at @cffirecity last week and I asked myself what I’ve been working on all these years at #crossfit . I AM training for longevity, I wanna be able to move like this and better for as long as I live. A while ago I had to scale my weights down to take care of an injury, I’m happy to report my hip is doing waaay better these days and I managed a total of 114 Power Cleans at 75lbs during the #wod today, which included running and pull ups. All done under the watchful eyes of @thatunclesam and @o.zheshuo.
