“How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher?”
To come to faith in Jesus Christ is a miraculous event, supernatural and not fully explainable. Yet as mystical as it seems, Paul tells us that getting to that point is practical and logical. For a person to believe, someone must tell them. A “preacher” is an essential part of the equation.
There are people in our world who may well call upon Jesus and believe in Him, but have not because none of us have brought them the message. As intimidating, even frightening as it is to represent Christ to others, we need to find a way.
As we live out our faith in transparency we can pray for opportunities to speak for Him. Without spiritual arrogance or condescension we seek openings and offer the truth. Following Jesus final instructions to His followers, we must seek to “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations..”(Matthew 28:19). #witness#gospel#jesus#dailydevotional#biblestudy
