Turning old woolly jumpers into super-cosy baby trousers and matching snoods. It feels great to be repurposing this pile of old clothes into something new. I want to try and do a lot more upcycling with my sewing in the future.
If you’ve got any nice jumpers you’ve accidentally boiled please do send them my way! 😉
Melbourne’s cold weather means a great big hug from my favourite men.. Ra-men that is. .
📍 @shopramen .
I did have a bit of food envy. My pork belly ramen was insanely delicious! But I had a taste of the beef brisket ramen and it was even better! But beware the spice! 🔥
Gotta love a one pot wonder.
Potato and cauliflower soup is my quick go to dish to make when pushed for time.
May not sound scrumptious but it is! Oh sooooo delicious and filling and super easy to whip up too.
I love cooking from scratch with these tasty Indian spices.💛
Turmeric, ginger, cumin, garam masala, corriander seeds, cardamom, garlic.
What's your trusty one pot wonder dish?
These Oats were so thick and creamy!
I’m so proud of myself for having them, because I added all the fruits I wanted and didn’t listen to my eating disorder when it was shouting nasty things in my ear (I have a bit of a fear of fruits, won’t share reasons as don’t want to trigger others, but I’m working on it because a lil fruit never killed anyone and rationally I know it’s healthy and full of nutrients).
Also recently I’ve upped my ratio of oats to vege as I was unnecessarily bulking it out way too much (like 1/3kg of vege in every oat bowl!) out of fear of getting hungry. Surprisingly even though it’s a bit lower volume it’s even more satisfying! I will continue to add veggies to my oats as I love the texture they bring though!
Now. How did I make this Creamy Dreamy bowl of Oats? You’re about to find out.
- 36g (about 1 large floret) Grated Cauliflower
- 77g (about 1/3) Zucchini Grated - 45g (about 1/2cup) Rolled Oats - 6g (about 1 heaped tsp @pranaon power plant protein powder (Vanilla Creme)
-5g Maca Powder
- Soak your Oats with Cauliflower and Zucchini in about 1 cup of boiling water for about 10-20mins stirring occasionally.
-microwave in increments of 1minute, stirring vigorously in between (keep an eye on it so it doesn’t spill over!)
- when your oats are pretty much ready add your Maca and pranaon. Stir until fully combined.
-sploosh a lil more water on top and put back in the microwave, cook in 30sec incriments stirring in between (keep an eye on it still!).
- when desired consistency take out and transfer to eating bowl. Add toppings and dig in!!

According to one of the many stories about the origin of the word “chocolate”, it comes from the Maya verb ‘chocola’j, which means “to drink chocolate together”. Indeed, it is a pleasure destined to be shared❤️
