Sunday vibes in the kitchen. The Werf Food Garden provides much of our vegetables. Winter is a challenging time for us as the garden goes into hibernation...Its the challenging times that brings out the creativity n us all. Nature provides for our needs not our wants. From a small pool of vegetable choice we have fun creating tasty and exciting dishes. Yesterday we went to harvest fava bean leaves, that were planted in the pastures for the Angus cattle. They make for a delicious green vegetable. The harvesting gets the chefs deep into our farm lands to experience farm life.
