I sampled Foxcroft Constantia's new winter menu and the food is both beautiful and delicious! Be warned though, you are spoilt for choice with so many wonderful dishes. Luckily they have a great winter lunch special so I think I'll just have to keep going back until I've tried everything on the new menu.
Here's what I had today.
Firstly treat yo' self to oysters poached in champagne 🥂🍾😍
For tapas I had roasted cauliflower mousse with lemon pickle and naan bread, and poached linefish with charred corn, seaweed and Thai broth.
I chose free-range duck with mustard leaf, parsnip, Swiss chard and blood orange for my main meal.
Luckily @murray_gorman and I shared our spectacular desserts - warm hazelnut cake with whipped Azelia, naartjie and celeriac, plus Belnori Tanglewood with dates, pickled onion and walnuts.
Incredibly inventive flavour combinations, presented beautifully, in a really relaxed setting - thank you @foxcroftfood 😍😍🍽️🙌🏾🙌🏾🥂🎉
