A day of ups and downs today. We were down to the minimum 4 riders within 20km and turned at the halfway 30km just off the pace for the win. The boys then stomped the 2nd lap only to puncture on the run home. With 4 riders required over the line, the guys had to stop change the wheel then regroup. We still managed to negative split the lap and almost come home with the fastest time. In the end, we lost 20 seconds to a well deserved Camino Team from the Gold Coast who had their share of bad luck. The result kept us in first place overall on teams, 3rd,4th,6th and 7th on GC, and 2nd in young riders.
All in all, that’s a huge result for an inexperienced group kept calm by Ryno and Mitch.
It’s all steam ahead into round 2 at Warwick in a few weeks time.
Thanks to NxRacing and Cycling Qld for a great event. #ridemore#cobra9racing#ridleybikes#thepedalercyclery#fesports#qrts18#devsquad#winners#podiums
Today my babygirl Paris turned 10! Which pretty much makes me feel old 🤣🤣. I was just a teenager when I was no longer responsible for myself but you as well. You literally made me a man and Daddy will forever appreciate and love you for it! So we brought you to Disney World lol! Happy Birthday babygirl, Keep Shining! - Love, Daddy!
After a long past two days these girls came out on top winning first in their bracket. Second team came out in 4th in the same bracket fighting every ounce they had against some pretty good teams! I couldn’t be prouder to see what I’m teaching them being brought to the court and passed onto others. Great job panthers!!! #pantherpride#SPP#volleyball#livinthedream#proud#winners !!!
If we were to do our home renovation all over again, we would do MANY things differently. However, there are a few decisions we made that were spot on. We splurged on the flooring in our kitchen/family room and dining room, which has proven to be a great choice. Originally, Joe was more than a little reluctant to go with LVP (luxury vinyl plank) over traditional hardwood or even engineered hardwood. We didn't want our floors to look like sheet vinyl like so many laminates do. We also wanted an updated look, while still matching the other wood in the house. Specifically the wood on the stairs. We decided on Coretec Plus XL in Appalachian Pine. They are totally waterproof (perfect for all of our rainy weather and coming back inside from the pool). They are wider and longer than most plank flooring, and they come beautifully beveled and are textured like real wood. Plus, the color hides almost too much dirt, if that's possible. We LOVE them! The other thing we love is our kitchen sink faucet. It might seem odd, but it's a little gee-whiz, yet normal and practical. The faucet has a sensor built in that allows you to turn it off and on with motion/ movement rather than a handle. I have found it especially handy after I've been handling raw meat. Anyway, if you're looking at replacing your flooring or kitchen faucet, I highly recommend these products! Il have to get the faucet info from Joe.
