Our new team member in Los Angeles, Heather, is inspiring families to help others! With amazing guidance from her leaders and willingness to learn, she’s getting out of her comfort zone to help children in need. That growth sounds worth it to us!
Got to spend time with Paul Gorski today from EdChange thinking about developing our equity literacy. "Equity," he told us, "requires a redistribution of access and opportunity." And, importantly, "There are no 5 things we can do to address the problems with inequity that we are trying to solve." #willtochange#tapvt#equity#edchange#gorski#nicesticker
If you could see yourself in a year without changing anything your doing today, would you be happy with how you think and feel about yourself?
My answer last year would have been No because a year ago I felt gross in my own skin.
I didn't like the way my clothes fit.
I was always tired and had barely enough energy to keep up with my newly walking toddler.
My hair was always short because I hated my round face in a pony tail and as a mom you know with long hair your hair is usually up unless you havr time to make it pretty but at that time forget it 🤣
And I always wore an extra tank top under my shirt because I felt like it helped cover up my tummy (my biggest problem area)
Now if I could see myself last year, I'd give myself the biggest hug for asking for the one gift I knew I needed! ❤
Yep, I used my birthday money to start my journey!
I'm finally comfortable in my own skin!
My clothes fit better and I can even fit into clothes that I haven't been able to wear in years.
Let's face it, I still get tired because my kid doesn't understand bedtime 🙈 but the comparison to this year and last is hugely different and I keep up with my now running toddler!
I grew out my hair for the first time in years and I love it! Mostly in a messy bun but hey its progress 🤣
And I've not felt the need to always wear an extra tank top all the time! Picture on the left is just the one tank! 😁
Now what if I told you all need was 30 minutes a day and the will to actually make the change and start!
Because that's all you need!
What you'll get is far better than you could ever imagine.
Just picture yourself and what you want to look like in a year, start today, and your future self will thank you ❤
I'm here for you! Are you ready?
I will share my story first. ➡️ In these pictures, it had only been about 8 days for me, and I’ve lost 5lbs total and 2inches off my waistline. You can’t tell the difference here, but I’m sure that as long as I keep on this system, more evident changes will happen!
As far as attitude and energy levels go, I still do the same thing at work, using the same pace... I don’t get tired or discouraged like the way I used to, so I’m able to finish a lot quicker. I used to drag and dread because of the lack of energy and motivation. I feel much more accomplished now because I’m able to move onward with more tasks at hand. I used to have to play catch up, every day. But after this system, I’m able to make time for planning and being on top of things right off the bat. No more playing catch up, just catch up with me! 💪🏼💪🏼
So, here is what I will call my “business page” for all the *serious* inquiries about the system I’m using. 🤣 I didn’t quite expect to receive such great results. Now that I have, I just can’t sit back and not share with the rest of the world how life-changing this J O U R N E Y has become. With that said, cheers to new beginnings and to goal crushings! Together, my friends, we can do anything. 💪🏼 Remember that. XoXo, @lynnsweetz 🌿
Be willing to confront your lies. Owning my truth, speaking my truth, and healing from that gives me the power to liberate my mind, my life, and expand my heart. Getting real and raw provides the platform, power, and the will to change. Understand how to use the pain of what you confront as a focused laser that points to the target of your awakening and healing.
Habits are very important. Habits shape your life far more than you probably realize. Habits are who you are. Good habits allow you to reach your goals. Habits set a foundation for life. Creating a foundation of healthy habits will benefit your life from today far into the future. This is not an impossible task and a few simple tricks can make the process much easier. #positivevibes#positiveattitude#goodhabits#improveoneself#livehappy#growth#willtochange
Will is a skill.
Most definitely. It’s a challenge to develop and have strong will. Will to wake up early. Will to make myself uncomfortable and do hard things. Will to eat clean and not grab junk. Will to drink water when I really want a Kahunas Pepsi. Will to want to be different than I was. Will to choose love or anger. Will...to do anything to get you to a goal.
Today was the first day I have REALLY struggled through the entire workout. I wanted to quit 5 minutes in and then again after first round, halfway through second round....well after about every exercise. I’m a little injured and I just didn’t have it in me today.
I am sure that there are many with me Day 60 or Day 1 that have felt, feel or will feel the same way I did today. Blah. I didn’t eat enough yesterday and I’m sore and tired and just not having the best couple days, but ironically, I wore THIS shirt today and made it through, because my will to change is greater than my will to stay the same.
So, yea, I am a little proud of myself today because 61 days ago, I might have said, eh, I’ll just make it up another day...but it’s Day 60 and I made it!! Shout out to the BEST CHALLENGE GROUP EVER... they are ALWAYS pushing each other and me to keep going and I’m on the downhill slope and I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.
Will is a skill. Is it one of yours?

Bell Hooks making me a better man… "It is not true that men are unwilling to change. It is true that many men are afraid to change. It is true that masses of men have not even begun to look at the ways that patriarchy keeps them from knowing themselves, from being in touch with their feelings, from loving. To know love, men must be able to let go of the will to dominate. They must be able to choose life over death. They must be willing to change." This was written years ago. The struggle continues.
In this special “minisode” of my podcast we’re turning the tables. After hosting over 20 episodes of the podcast, my producer Doug takes over as interviewer and we take a moment to pause and reflect on the interviews we’ve conducted so far this year. #linkinbio#willtochange#podcast#podcaster

“There are people, who are vulnerable to sinking into despair, despite the fact that we have all the tools to solve a crisis. They think to themselves that maybe we don’t have the will to change. Well, let me remind you that the will to change is a renewable resource in itself”. - Al Gore
