Our van has been doing great lately and has taken us on some pretty incredible adventures. The Voyager has been a great first home but we are super stoked for a change. We are working hard to get to Berlin sometime this winter. From there we are going to attempt to build a clientele base and buy a new van to see Europe in. We are manifesting all the abundance to make this happen. As excited as we are I’m still hit with fear as we attempt this life at freelance. I do stress about money all the time and we definitely dip lower in our bank accounts than I like, but everything always works out. We’ve kept this lifestyle going in an old van that ate our money in gas and fixes. After this last wild year in our home on wheels, we’ve been prepared for anything the universe will throw at us.
So here goes nothing.
Our late afternoon hike to hidden lake at #glaciernationalpark
Hikes like this set the bar high for future nature walks. It was too much to even take in. Being behind the camera separates you from your surroundings and actually forms a barrier to your own memory. So, even though you have the picture itself sometimes you don’t have that vivid recall of the total experience. .
During this hike I made specific intentions to do my best to take it all in. I took deep breaths, felt the air all around me, how the cold from the snow made my ankles and calves a little cool, how the sun was so warm and the wind was whipping my hair in my face, how the crisp, clean air that had blown a second before over a glacier, past the mountain and over the lake then to me to breath in. I experienced it fully then snapped a quick photo. Enjoy through the screen and then book a trip to Glacier because these photos are only 1/10th of how miraculous it is to be here. ♥️
Someone asked the other day "what's our key 🔑 to success?" Persistance. Getting back on the horse 🐎 even after you feel you've fallen.
We have big goals. We want to break into the photography world 🌎, blog full time, become freelance photographers 📷 and writers ✒, travel in a sprinter van, have mobile jobs, collect and keep memories.
Its been a challenging road and at times we have our doubts about if we can do it. 🙆
But every day we post and work on our blog. Critiquing and asking what can be better, how can we improve our skills? We save our pennies and work hard at work to earn our dreams. .
With persistance and hard work, we believe we can achieve anything, what do you think? 💪
When I’m on my journey I get to live life through an extraordinarily clear and beautiful lens of perception. Days become a string of treasured moments like this, that imprint me forever. Can you imagine 6 months, or years of breathing in the most incredible places in nature that exist. That’s how I dream of living, dream of letting my soul be transformed by this beauty, peace, and aliveness. 📸 @undanflykter #ridingwild#theearthisunique#cactusblossom#awakethesoul#wildvisuals
Not a Mountain View, but our view for now and the next several weeks while Maya is recovering from her surgery.
She’s still getting used to the idea of being confined by a stroller, but at least this will allow her to come on walks with Ava in the short term and will help her heal stronger in the long term. We didn’t want her to feel shunned into a corner while she’s unable to run, we wanted her to feel empowered and included in all family activities. 💙
Leave no pack member behind! ☺️
