There’s something about being on the side of a mountain, looking out over an expansive valley and picturing your setting from a bird’s eye view that delivers perspective. Like looking out over the ocean, or into the night sky, it’s a reminder of how small we are, but how much we can make an impact through action.
Thanks so much to everyone that has come to visit us in the Mullewa Pop Up Shop and Cafe over the last few weeks - especially those who have driven from Geraldton or beyond just to see us! We have been buzzing with customers and having a great time! Open until end of Sept - if you haven't driven out to see the wildflowers yet it is worth the trip out! 😁
The wildflowers are entering full bloom throughout the Gascoyne-Murchison region, and Cue is one of the hotspots! Eromophilia are flowering everywhere, and from Cue to Walga Rock you'll see flowers galore along the roadside 🌼😍 If you're visiting the region don't forget to snap a picture of the beautiful wildflowers you come across and enter into our competition to win $500! 🌺 http://bit.ly/AGOwildflowers 📍 Cue, Gascoyne-Murchison, @westernAustralia @australia
I know it might be hard to believe, but a few pilgrims who walk the 800km Camino Frances think the Camino's middle section (the 232km long Meseta) is boring. What do you think? Would you call this scenery boring? 🤔 -----------
The red poppies & other wildflowers lining the dirt path don’t hurt the eyes either. This beautiful stretch of Camino is located between the towns of Hontanas & Castojeriz in the region of Castilla y Leon.
No matter the season, the outline of Niwot Ridge is breathtaking. The view of this foursome of jagged granite peaks is humbling and rewarding—especially during the last half-mile of the hike to Lake Isabelle. If this trail isn’t already on your Colorado bucket list, follow the link in our bio to find out why it should be. 📷: @tyrasutak
Echinacea for #wildflowerlettering with @happyhippieletters and I! I know I spelt it wrong🤦🏼♀️. Then I had big plans to fix it on my iPad but didn’t... so this is what’s getting posted cause I am actually pretty in love with how these little dudes turned out! I love how the petals open downward like that, almost like the centre is wearing a skirt 😂
My dad & stepmom used to make us take echinacea extract when we were getting sick. A dropper under your tongue and hold it there for a minute.. oh MAN it was gross. But it worked really well 🤷🏼♀️ have you ever had it?
We found Spider Orchids in Candy’s Bush Reserve, Moora 😍 and lots of other wildflowers along Midlands Rd between Three Springs and Carnamah last week. The last photo isn’t a wildflower actually - but pretty it is!
