It is SO important that we have people surrounding us that have our backs. On the best days and on the worst days, we need people there for us that are willing to do whatever they can because sometimes we can’t handle it, but other times we feel on top of the world and like nothing can stand in our way. Having those people next to us, supporting our arms with their’s, is necessary in any and all situations.
Find you those people and be that person for someone else because it is truly fulfilling and we simply need more of it. 💫
We haven’t gone fishing this year at all like we did last year! Well for one we didn’t get our license cause if your an outta stater its crazy expensive.
It’s mid summer and it’s flying by, and there’s so much I still want to do.
Been feeling pretty lethargic lately and unmotivated for everyday life. Told Lyn that I feel like he makes the money and I just go spend it.. on errands, groceries and tires 😂 Anyone else feel this way?

First time in 16 years that we were empty nesters for five days — and we just returned from a wilderness walkabout. Happy 17th to my beloved and may we scramble up many more hills, ascend a hundred more passes and enjoy many more al fresco picnics until our tale is told out. I sure do adore you. #happyanniversary
Hiking the Highline Trail in Glacier is quite the experience; it's one of the most unique trails I've ever hiked and also one of the most crowded. A little over halfway out, you see this wooden structure on a ridgetop, miles out in the distance. (You can see the silhouette of the building in the upper right of my pic). That's the Granite Park Chalet, a century old structure and currently the only one of its kind in the park (the other, Sperry Chalet, burnt down in last year's wildfire, but is being rebuilt). It would be pretty neat to stay there tonight, I thought, having been debating where I was going to sleep that night without a campsite. Lo and behold, they had one room for one person still available. And if I'm going to spend three months driving around, experiencing the country, I might as well seek out some unique experiences, so...
Me and @megmcquilton have been MIA for a while here in Sweden 🇸🇪 so much so that we have started renting here and will probably be staying for a while. Episode 3 of Norway will be out soon followed by episode 1 of Sweden, I haven’t forgotten, just been a little busy arranging accommodation . #overlanding#truckcamper#wildernesslifestyle#nature
This is Marie Lake as seen from the top of Selden Pass
With two big mountain passes behind me now, I still have Muir Pass, Mather Pass, Pinchot Pass & Glen Pass lying ahead of me
I am getting stoked for the views lying ahead
Eucalyptus might just be one of the prettiest scents.. besides Replica by Maison Margiella: "Warm flames crackle in the fireplace. The cold of frost on the window. Warm smoke of firewood. And the cozy veil of grilled chestnuts. A fragrance built upon a delicious Chestnut accord for a cocooning effect. Pink Pepper and Clove contrast with warm notes of Cashmeran and Orange Flower. An enveloping addiction intensified by woody notes for a warmhearted sensation of winter..". Mmmm... Right, eucalytpus, you're great too. ❤️
The world is amazing ! ❤️

After spending four days checking out Yosemite National Park, it was time to get back on the PCT
Ahead of me still lie the passes and lakes of the higher Sierras
In this photo the sun is setting on Yosemite and its spectacular Half Dome peak
