Not an everyday ritual anymore but only the best will do when it’s coffee time 🤤🙏 @coffeebondibeach 
I got sick a couple months back so I cut it out of my daily routine and as my anxiety stuck around I opted to continue to leave it out of my daily routine. When I really feel like a coffee I have one, sometimes it’s once or twice a week or a fortnight but it’s only ever a delicious drop because it’s a double espresso and if it tastes like dirt it just makes me mad 🤪

I nearly broke out in tears of joy because I finally felt validated and that it wasn't all in my head. I made an appointment with my gynecologist and went in for surgery shortly after.

This is where, when and how I fell in love with holistic nutrition and became an advocate for nutritional literacy. I want others to feel the same relief I felt and to know that there are means of getting better. Food is powerful and is capable of changing people's lives. If I can have one small part in helping someone learn to love food that nourishes them, then I'll have done my job.

It’s been exactly one week since my Lymphatic Drainage and Infrared Wrap sessions at @citysweats and I wish I was back there! I’m definitely gonna be looking into infrared saunas located in SF but I wish City Sweats moved there instead😏The Infrared Wrap was more intense than any workout I’ve ever done, the sweat is no joke. I was sweating so much afterwards too so the relaxation lounge area was the perfect place to cool down after showering. They even set up a refreshing drink and orange for you there. I also got 2 tonics from my Yelp check-in and I took them before and after the sessions. Loved every minute of it!!

Carrot cake with a twist.
I put some @wholefoods fresh cut pineapple, carrots and bananas into @cuisinart food processor. Once blended, I transferred the liquid mixture into @kitchenaidusa mixer, added 2 @vitalfarms eggs, @bobsredmill whole wheat pastry flour, @paradiseherbs maca up powder, @traderjoes almond meal, baking soda, @simplyorganicfoods cinnamon, ground ginger and ground cardamom, sprinkled in chopped red walnuts and unsweetened shredded coconut and @navitasorganics hemp seeds.
Preheat oven to 350 DF, spray a loaf pan, pour batter and spread evenly. Bake for 45-55min 😋

Day 2/365.

In the midst of another good day. ☺️ It has been easy so far, but in my experience the beginning always is. It’s when I have been going for a while and cravings hit that I need to remind myself why I started.

I’m already noticing a few slight changes from reducing my sugar. My appetite has been more manageable, I’ve been getting to sleep a bit earlier, and my afternoon slump hasn’t been as bad as usual. And this is with still consuming added sugar here and there as I clear out my fridge/pantry. I’m very curious as to how I’ll be feeling one month in.

Cauliflower Edamame Fried Rice

Skip the takeout this weekend and make this vibrant veggie-based fried rice instead! Recipe below 👇🏼

3 cups riced cauliflower
1/2 cup frozen edamame
1 cup shredded purple/green cabbage 
1/3 cup shredded carrots
2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
cilantro for serving

For Sauce

3 tbsp coconut aminos
2 tbsp rice vinegar
2 tsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp minced garlic
1/2 tsp grated ginger

Stir together ingredient for sauce in a small bowl. Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cauliflower rice, carrots and cabbage. Stir well. Cook 5 minutes. Add edamame and stir in sauce. Cook 5 minutes longer. Serve hot with chopped cilantro.

Threw a quartered white onion, jalapeño pepper, Serrano pepper, 2 garlic gloves, cilantro, fresh lime juice, and salt in the food processor for 5 nice pulses. Then threw in 6 quartered Roma tomatoes and pulsed a few more times. Super fresh, super yummy, super spicy, super easy. 😛
