When the sun sets on another day, it’s easy to think that’s it’s all been a waste. When I find I’ve had a challenging work day, this new practice is especially helpful: I’ve been making a list of things I did everyday that are “good,” no matter how small. For instance, if I made myself a delicious and healthy meal, it goes on the list. If I got my first 10,000 steps in, it goes on the list. Or, maybe I made a good sale or helped out a guest in some way...it goes on the list. I then pretty-up the page in my designated journal, and celebrate my progress. I’m aiming to do this little practice everyday for the rest of the year.
Visiting winter (in September): it’s the last weekend to check out the Cloudraker Skybridge in @whistlerblackcomb and I can see why: lots of frost on the suspension bridge, snow/rain coming down and below freezing temperatures up here! There are just a few weeks left before the end of the season. I’m heading to Whistler again at the end of the month on another FAM trip with work. Cant wait!#wbworklove

Of course that’s easier said than done, but know that you are in control of your actions and reactions. No one has full control of their life because there will always be outcomes and situations you can’t predict. So start today by being thankful you woke up this morning and were able to walk out of bed (not everyone had that opportunity). Now take a minute and ask yourself: Am I happy? Do I deserve to be happy? What can I do right now that will make me happy?
