Happening now, a guest bartending shift by @yespleaseph bar supervisor and head mixologist Mark Herrera from Manila at minimalist cocktail bar @fancy.sg as part of @thebarawards - his Gaps Khakis cocktail (pictured) is a twist of a whisky sour and an egg nog using @monkeyshoulder, peanut butter, pandan, coconut, and egg white. A breakfast drink we can definitely say yes to!
That’s a great place, especially when the boss’ boss’ boss pays for the drinks. This time round, however, I had to pay for it myself. Wanted it to be cheaper, and they offered me a sun dried, thin slice of lemon as garnish. Then I asked them to switch from lemon juice to lime juice as it agrees with my stomach much better 🤷♂️ It’s got the looks, and it’s got the taste #whiskysour#daniels , #soho , #steinenvorstadt , #basel PS.
